You epitomize the left's problem. You care more about tearing down Trump than the message your loser candidates are trying to foist upon the public. Hillary tried to play it that way, few appearances, bash the opponent, and offer nothing policy wise. I'll be laughing at you folks in Nov...

I just read that Tom Perez will allow the Poster Boy for Nootropic Drugs to speak live tonight. Whether that's true or not is anybody's guess. Since most of the country won't be watching maybe his handlers will risk him butchering another speech. By the time most people see it tomorrow the MSM will have edited it so Senile Joe looks like the second coming of Marcus Tullius Cicero.

You forget that most of these are the very companies farming out US jobs to China. So of course they'll support the guy that isn't trying to throw a monkey wrench into their plans to castrate the American worker.

Can't imagine a convention on either side not being Cringe-worthy - but agree that this was particularly egregious and off-putting.

It has been dark and angry with nothing positive and no plan for America except defeat Trump because they personally hate his guts.. I predict the Republican convention will be uplifting and pro America with an agenda put forth that people can get excited about.

They are so focused on themselves that they aren't reading the country correctly and are completely out of step with the American People.

They also think they can lie about and fake everything:

Wow, you really read a lot into those couple sentences. As I've mentioned many times, and seems to get ignored by the Trumpers who can't respond to someone without making assumptions about them, I don't support Biden. I don't support a particular side. It's possible to think both candidates are garbage, that there are problems with people in both parties, but see that one is less damaging to the country than another.

I think you might have hit on why the DNC's ratings have been so poor, Joseph. I don't know why anyone other than a "Democrat" would want to subject themselves to all that negativity.

Which leads me to believe that tonight's finale is going to be a faceplant...

Gawd that was awful. As a communications professional I can't help but wonder who is the amateurish hack running that production?

If Republicans can learn anything from the DNC it's how not to run a virtual convention.

In reality, something Trumpleton's are challenged by, the Biden campaign has released an extensive policy book while Trump's campaign centers around baseless character assassination.

Since that article was published he has issued more policy papers.

The only hate and vitriol that I've been seeing - with regards to the DNC - is coming from Trump supporters. The same thing with Portland. You folks certainly get your panties in a bunch about Dem issues and states...

Trump's plan for a second term:

Well, one of the things that will be really great, you know the word experience is still good. I always say talent is more important than experience. I’ve always said that. But the word experience is a very important word. It’s an — a very important meaning.

I never did this before. I never slept over in Washington. I was in Washington, I think, 17 times. All of a sudden, I’m president of the United States. You know the story. I’m riding down Pennsylvania Avenue with our First Lady and I say, ‘This is great. But I didn’t know very many people in Washington. It wasn’t my thing. I was from Manhattan, from New York. Now I know everybody, and I have great people in the administration.”

You make some mistakes. Like, you know, an idiot like Bolton. All he wanted to do was drop bombs on everybody. You don’t have to drop bombs on everybody. You don’t have to kill people.

And they say Biden has dementia.

So you're claiming that no supporters of Trump have factories in China ... you so cute. Hell, the Trump's use Chinese labor instead of American labor to produce their hats and ties and purses.

Most normal Americans don't want to watch three hours of people telling them how terrible their country is. Aside from that listening to all that negativity and hate is exhausting.

First statement is correct - and will be discussed later ... but - Joe - the RNC will be full of the same platitudes and worthless rhetoric - as it always is ... nothing positive and no plan for America sans tipping the equilibrium further towards the .000000001% plus/minus a 0.

    Catch my drift Matey.

What follows was from a comment by Dairy in a different thread claiming that there was nothing good about Red .. (huge generalization which I pointed out initially) in an attempt to glorify Blue. D said "Prove it" - I then listed 6 or 7 categories and said pick 2 (three of them had "Pick Me" beside it on the list :) ..

Deciding not to pick but saying instead I should pick - I posted the following.

Glad you enjoyed - and now perhaps you have a few valid arguments .. but don't for a second kid yourself that Red Establishment has your best interests at heart ... it just happens that their current agenda .. happens to be way better than the Blue agenda for the Environment.

So why have - but a few Red in Congress - not taken up this torch ? Put the flag in the Environmental territory .. and say now Kick me off the hill .. Seize the Day .. so to speak ..

Dis no joke my wayward friend - down some partisan path of ... yeah - these enviro issues I speak of are real - and far more pressing than CO2 - and am a subject matter expert some direct and related areas.

I agreed with that - .where you fell off the turnip truck was the " uplifting and pro America with an agenda put forth that people can get excited about"

What part of "not your best interests in mind" did not register ? nothing "Pro America" about it . No Plan .. No Path forward.. not addressing ANY of the systemic issues listed as valid reasons to vote Red ... it is just that Blue happens to be so bad.

Red is Sht .. and have a clown currently as their front man ... same old failed bad policies .. and "Anti American" agenda.

Like you, I could immediately tell the Dem. Convention was not going to be my cup of tea & I haven't been watching. I disagree w/ your analysis, however, if you mean to imply that this lack of enthusiasm for the Convention will equate w/ a poor showing in the general election.

Biden would not have been my 1st choice (nor my 2nd, 3rd, or 4th). With all the challenges we face as a country, & as a species, his top-line project is a, "Moon shot to cure cancer, " because, " it's possible--" but universal, single-payer healthcare ISN'T ?? (And possible in 4 YEARS?) I get, additionally, a vibe of disingenuousness from Kam-ala Harris-- a la Bill Clinton (when I saw him in the 1st Dem. debate that cycle & came away convinced he was a political smooth-talker who could be trusted only to say whatever he thought would be politically advantageous).

Nonetheless, I am determined to vote in the election &, even had I been in a coma the last 4yrs., it seems to me self-evident that ANY candidate who doesn't allow the public to verify what, if any, potential CONFLICTS of INTEREST pre-exist, by allowing us to see his or her tax returns, AUTOMATICALLY disqualifies themself from consideration: huge RED-flag.
