Maybe because the whole story is based on speculation. There has been a fence at the Tijuana / San Diego border near forever. Supposedly got a big upgrade in the 1990's.

Near large metropolitan areas a secure fence makes sense. But we are talking about 40-50 mile sections for the handful of spots along the border like this.

A better job on fewer tasks means lowering the burden on tax payers. It was fun seeing the opposition accidentally run a story that supports a wall.

    What laws would those be?

Most likely it is the republicans who are exploiting illegals for low wage labor. I recall a certain republican registered farmer that was caught in recent times for hiring illegal workers.

Let's start in cities that are sanctuaries and where their employers do not have to ask if they are employing illegal immigrants or not.

They just make stuff up or point to rhino republicans like Paul Ryan and John McCain to establish moral equivalency.

There are no cities where that is the case, sanctuary or not.

Take it up with Congress. They could easily make e-Verify law but they did not.

If the Feds have the money to do so, have at it. However, hospitals likely will not release any personal files due to patients confidentiality. And why stop at CA. You don't think TX or anywhere else have illegals??

I'm all for that but what about sanctuary cities and how will that work in sanctuary States with sanctuary laws?

I'm all for firing up the busses and mass deportation. I don't care where they are I want to find them and deport them.

I like that. We very well may have to concede to Trump’s wall, but we can keep it tied up in the courts long enough that Trump would never gets to see it.

Sanctuary laws wouldn't be able to excuse employers from following mandated federal laws. Make e-Verify federal law and let's see where that gets us.

I remember the old San Diego (San Ysidro) border fence, it was just a typical chain link fence with just a couple of strands of barbwire at the top, not constatinia wire.

The San Diego fence is only 12 miles long from the Imperial Beach to Otay Mesa border crossing.
    Illegal crossings are around zero.

After that it's just a politically correct fence.

Eventually you get to Yuma Arizona with it's politically incorrect fence and illegal crossings are rare and the fence works.

You really can't tell the difference between the first two photo's you've shown? Look at the desert in the second photo there. If that isn't a deterent, then a chain link fence with barb wire won't be either.

It was. And to fact check Trump's claim that 30% of these migrant women are raped in Northern Mexico as they transit the Rape Routes kept in operation by the the Open Borders Democrats to point out that actually 60-80% of these women are raped on the Democrats Rape Routes through Northern Mexico. These Rape Routes should have never been in operation and they need to be put out of operation NOW with these illegal entry points CLOSED!

Levin: ‘We have a Fighter in the WHITE HOUSE!

    Finally!

Thursday on the radio, LevinTV host Mark Levin set straight the media’s claims that it would be unconstitutional for President Donald Trump to use the National Emergencies Act to build a wall to secure the U.S.-Mexico border.

“The president isn’t violating the constitution. He’s not even violating the statute. He’s looking at the statute, he’s looking at the immigration laws, there’s an emergency provision in the immigration law, the Immigration and Naturalization Act, and he’s marrying the two up, which is what he’s supposed to do, because he’s getting advice from really smart lawyers … smarter than the lawyers who are online, popping off. Smarter than the phony lawyers who are on cable TV. Real, serious, constitutional lawyers, not former this and former that,” Levin said.

Most of the border fencing is nothing more than this.
