That is what we need. Non partisanship when it comes to farting. I'm personally an independent when it comes to farting.

 

They get labeled with various pejoratives; 'race traitor, uncle tom' etc. But its ultra rare they're even acknowledged. One of the benefits of being able to control the conversation through censorship and media domination is that the left never has to discuss anything that puts their narrative in doubt.

 

Pres Trump stands a very real chance of losing several key battleground states specifically because of his limp response to COVID and the similar limp responses he has inspired in Governors/Mayors/city councils. I've never known Republicans to ignore a threat but that is whats happening right now, doubly so. They're ignoring the threat that is COVID, and they're ignoring the threat that is ignoring the threat that is COVID. Imagine if we lost America to radical progressivism over facemask denial.

 

Governors/Mayors/city councils face a bigger threat, the absence of leadership by Dopey Donald Trump.

If Dopey Donald Trump had been a real leader the Covid19 pandemic would not be as severe as it is.

 

What interests me is that over sixty years ago it was generally acknowledged on the Right that the goal of the Marxist units from the old Soviet Union and some other nation that got establed inside the United States was to set-up cells and train young radicals so as to infiltrate the Dem Party -- because liberals make useful . . . um . . . never mind -- and also gain control of the nation's educational system, its entertainment industry, and its media outlets . . . and then the Greatest Generation sat back and watched and did pretty much nothing to stop them as they methodically started doing exactly that. It was a bit like marveling over a train wreck in slow motion progress while standing on top of the train.

 

The Soviet Union is gone. The Russian Federation through Vladimir Putin is controlling POTUS Trump, and through Trump, they are controlling GOP lawmakers.

Oh, I know that whether or not I buy a couple of sacks of groceries with Goya products, it won't make any earth-shaking difference to the fate of the world... but... in a way not greatly different from howling, radical mobs of ANTIFA and BLM 'protesters', by doing my little 'bit' I can "feel good about myself".

Besides 'voting' by how you spend your money, and with which companies, is probably the most effective kind of voting that remains in the United States of America.... We have to choose sides now, whether we like it or not... it's really gotten THAT bad.

Clear examples: I'll never buy anything again with the name "Nike" on it until the company dumps Krappernick. I'll never buy another product sold by Penzey's Spices until their CEO stops raving and ranting against Trump (as he has since the day Trump was elected). I'll never watch (or buy) another movie with that bilious, hateful POS, Alec Baldwin, or Robert De Niro in it -- and at least a dozen other 'celebrities' who are long on mouth, but who come up short on everything else....

I give your post a like because I like the way you expressed yourself and I admit I should have been more judicious in my response. It is true by old saying "money talks and bullschiest walks". So if enough do make a statement by their buying or not buying a product it could make a difference. Yet I do not believe it will be a long lasting impact either way.
I started my boycott of '60 minutes of lies' back on 1992 or 1993 and kept that position to this day. So '60 minutes of les' is still on the air, right??? LOL!

I understand your position about Kaperdink but my view is that his protest taken in and by itself as a statement is more foolish and pathetic than impactive. Trump the phoney baloney "patriot" made Kaperdink's show way more famous or infamous than it should ever have been. I get sick to my stomach every time I here Trump the goon who dishonors our flag, our veterans, and our Constitution talk about patriotism. Kapperdink should have been ignored like a toddler throwing a schiest fit because his cookie broke in half as he ate it.

 

He's had a fabulous response to COVID. He gave the Governors everything they needed. The Red Governors have a record that is among the best in the developed Western World, the Blue Govs, one of the worst.

The Blue Gov's that forced positive COVID residents into nursing homes, not equipped to maintain separation, essentially committed an atrocity on our elderly, yet, nary a peep out of you.

No one is. Though Pelosi, DeBlasio and Cuomo did early on, no one ignores it today. Our response is Locally administered, State Mandated, Federally backed.

We're working through the riot bulge, it will pass. You hysteria is aimed at Nov, not COVID.

 

And I give your post a 'like' because, although I'm critical of Trump for economic reasons (not patriotic ones), you express a viewpoint that I can mostly agree with.

Honestly, even if you have great amounts of money, you can't -- as one person -- boost or harm the value of any company, whether it's "Goya", "Nike", or whatever. The older I get, the more I realize that the smartest and least exhausting thing you can do once you retire is to say, "I'm going to do what I can, and do what I wish (as much as possible), but without busting a gut!" Gut-busting can be expensive, and Medicare doesn't pay for everything -- by a LONG shot....

I've learned that you can go out and scream your outrage to the stars, and the response is dead SILENCE. I've also learned that you can go and scream your lungs out to the government, and the response is much the same....

But, what the hell... at least you can buy from companies that don't piss you off!

Funny but I ran out to get some beer at the grocery store wife asked me to pick up some yellow GOYA rice. Has to be yellow she said for some shrimp on rice rescipe she has. It was gone , sold out. Just white stuff left. I found some brand called AGAGO .. ? she said it was ok but said not as good as Goya, then added "you sure you looked, your brand of beer was not out of stock". What did you do buy it all out before I got there to make me look bad !! LOL.

 

Yeah, my farts are purple, especially after eating some yummy Goya black beans.
