Projection. So frustrating especially when the projectionist knows that he is projecting his hateful, racist beliefs and actions on the very people he hates and falsely accuses. It can be called projection, but what it really is deception. The level of deception and deceit among the left is jaw-droppingly surreal.

The best way to "end it" is to let the "end" do all the work ...

How many white people have you met that are concerned about their racial loss of status in society? For me that number is zero.

    WHAT THE HELL ... ?

    And so what?

The initial version of the "Yellow Jackets" was to protest against the significant unemployment that existed in France.

No guns were ever employed by anybody. But, yes, some kids got out of control. They were about 200 and they have all earned a jail-sentence. (Which they will execute, and goes onto their police record - perhaps destroying any chance they will ever have at a good job for quite some time.)

That you own a gun does not matter in the least. That this last shooter owned a semi-automatic weapon and not a "machine-gun" does not matter either.

You gun-enthusiasts do not understand that massive injustice of having semi-automatic guns on sale that can be used publicly as weapons to kill as many people as possible.

What really matters is the fact that the US has one of the largest gun-related deaths per population of any developed nation on earth. From here:

The gun-related homicide red-line of the USA below is 7 times that of the largest other red-line country (Portugal)

Not only are Americans killing one another at the highest rate amongst developed nations, but we also have the highest gun-suicide rate.

There is something very, very wrong for the above statistics to be as they are. And, frankly, it is clear to some that the above is due to some very deep psychological problems that are nationwide in nature.

And people like you refuse to admit that hellish fact - which is sad-sad-sad for a country with an economy that has one of the highest living-standards in the world.

It makes one wonder just what-the-hell is going on ...

Would it make you feel any better if the 25,000 suicide victims jumped off of bridges?

Really? Surely if anything America is dying of blackness? Those killed by young African American men dwarfing those killed by anyone else?

Factual fallacy. Automatic weapons were outlawed decades ago. The only guns that can be purchased today are semi-automatic, one pull, one shot.
Logical fallacy. Outlawing automatic weapons did NOT make gun crime go down. The fact that there is no simple solution seems to have been lost on you even though you said it.

Except that's not apples to apples. The OECD countries do not have the same numbers and types of minorities that the United States does. If you compare whites to whites, blacks to blacks, and Hispanics to Hispanics, crime in the US is identical to that of every other country that has those populations. Compare the US (which does and does not have gun control) to Brazil (which has very strict gun control laws in place). The US has 88.8 guns per 100 residents v. 8 guns per 100 residents in Brazil, but the murder rate in Brazil is six times higher than the murder rate in the US, 27 per 100K v. 4.7 per 100K.

    Now look at population:

"The firearm homicide rate among black men [in the US] aged 20-29 is about 89 per 100,000.To put that fact in some international perspective, in Honduras—the country with the highest recorded homicide rate—there were 90.4 intentional murders per 100,000 people in 2012. That includes all means, not just firearm homicides."

    https://www.brookings.edu/blog/soci...ifferent-worlds-of-black-and-white-americans/

"Between 2012 to 2015, the rate of white-on-white violent crime (12.0 per 1,000 persons) was roughly four times higher than black-on-white violent crime (3.1 per 1,000), the Bureau of Justice Statistics said in a press release.

“The rate of black-on-black crime (16.5 per 1,000) was more than five times higher than white-on-black violent crime (2.8 per 1,000). The rate of Hispanic-on-Hispanic crime (8.3 per 1,000) was about double the rate of white-on-Hispanic (4.1 per 1,000) and black-on-Hispanic (4.2 per 1,000) violent crime,” according to the report."

    https://www.huffpost.com/entry/viol...ite-on-white-crime_n_59e8a84fe4b0d0e4fe6d953b

(These numbers include all violent crime, including assault.)

"If we take the 23 percent figure for non-Hispanic whites to be representative for the entire population (remember, it is likely a good bit lower), then the number of murders committed by non-Hispanic and non-black people in the United States for 2010 would be 2989.

The population of non-Hispanic whites for 2010 was 196.8 million. Applying the 2989 murders to this population gives a murder rate of 1.52 per 100,000 population. We cannot get a more precise figure unless we have more demographic data than that given. Asian-Americans, for example, have historically had very low murder rates, but we do not have the data. The 1.52 per 100,000 murder rate is right in the middle of the murder rate of developed European countries. Add the Black and Hispanic numbers back into the mix and apply to the entire United States population, and the murder rate goes up to 4.8 per 100,000. Guns or gun control simply do not correlate to higher murder rates, particularly when you consider that non-Hispanic Whites own guns at much higher rates than do Blacks or Hispanics in the United States."

Guns are not the problem, people are.

Interesting. Dr. Jonathan Metzl (from your article) has a book... "The Protest Psychosis: How Schizophrenia Became a Black Disease". According to professor, psychiatrist, and cultural commentator, Jonathan M. Metzl, it was during this time that medical psychiatry came to view schizophrenia as a disease rampant amongst Black men.

So, is mental-illness racist? Dr. Jonathan Metzl certainly is, with his new book, "Dying of Whiteness."

So true! But we see it all the time here.

Thank you for displaying yet another assinine evolution of psychological thinking.

Mental illness, just like all dysfunctions of human-body, is not race-bred. They are learnt by simply living somewhere/anywhere and adopting a "common or prevailing mindset" ...

This medium of exchange is VERY FAR from being a Debate Forum the rules for which were established a long, long time ago. (See here)

It's just a Discussion Forum. And yet, it is good that all sides of question/issue/matter can be discussed openly in a free-entry manner.

(Except for the unconscionable who have nothing to add to a discussion other than invective and sarcasm. And they are MANY such knotheads who do so ...)

And that has changed what given the succession of public massacres by automatic-weapons that have been manipulated to produce a higher rate of fire.

    Like a "bump-stock"?

You would not know a logical fallacy if it bit you on the nose.

You are a victim of "mind-set" where people are "taught" (by word of mouth and mental kinship) to promote a particular point-of-view that is an inherent misconception.

Which is proven time-and-time again when public massacres killing numerous people and injuring others comes to public attention.

But what does the "public" do about it. Nada, niente, rien, nixt, nothing.

Either pure ignorance or a pathetic argument in favor of automatic-like killer-weapons made from arms publicly available. Most likely both.

People with guns are the problem, and particularly those who are driven to kill as many of their fellow mankind as possible. Which has become a pronounced mental-illness in America!

ASIDE FROM PUBLIC MASSACRES COMMITTED BY ISLAMISTS HAVE SUCH PUBLIC MASSACRES BEEN COMMITTED IN DEVELOPED NATIONS. But, not to worry, with the Internet an awful idea makes the rounds and promotes such public slaughter, mass murder, carnage, butchery. (New Zealand being the latest example of such.)

And all for what? So some boys-'n-girlz can get their rocks-off firing an automatic-like weapon?

They would be better off psychologically by having more sex together ...

Metzl is a Jew. =. Jews have led the fight to ban guns in America. https://www.myjewishlearning.com/article/hunting-in-judaism/

    https://nfty.org/take-action/gvp/

"Most of the gun control movement’s political clout comes from two well-connected organizations. Giffords, founded by gun violence victim and former Rep. Gabby Giffords (D-Ariz.) and her husband, now U.S. Senate candidate Mark Kelly, spent almost $6.6 million on independent expenditures in 2018. Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's Everytown for Gun Safety spent $5.1 million.

Independence USA PAC, a super PAC backed by Bloomberg, says it supports a variety of causes including stricter gun laws. It spent around a whopping $37.5 million on independent expenditures during the 2018 midterms. The money supported federal candidates who favored gun control and attacked those who didn’t — 21 of the 24 Democratic House candidates the super PAC supportedwon in 2018."

    Hang 'em all! Right?!?

You unreasonably assume that their lives are no different from yours and therefore they should be behaving like you. Which is impertinence on your part.

One has to wonder how the MLK public meeting on the Washington Mall, which was high-point in his career, has come to nothing for a very large percentage of "his people".

He'd likely be heartbroken to see how many blacks still are incarcerated below the Poverty Threshold! Because America REFUSES to address the indigenous problem of 40 million of its fellow citizens INCARCERATED below the Poverty Threshold ($25K family-of-4 annual revenue).

It does not take a massively extensive professional study of the poverty-problem in the US. (Besides, they've been done already. America has a Big Problem!)

And if a study should be done, it should be that of the peoples' Congress that has
DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about the problem for a great many years (because BigBusiness does not want to be forced to hike wages!):

Do you think the problem has been solved simply because the Rose Bowl gets more attention on TV than does poverty?

America LOVES TO PROMOTE ON TV Hollywood stars and professionals who "made it big". And why?
Because money-money-money has become of primary interest to the American public (who also must watch the TV-commercials) ... !

Then why did you bring up "Dying of Whiteness" from the same man who wrote "The Protest Psychosis: How Schizophrenia Became a Black Disease"? Are you a racist? I think you are, that's why you display yet another assinine [sic] evolution of psychological thinking.

Actually you are the victim of a mindset that sees the problem not in the people pulling the trigger but in the device they use to murder people. But the device is not the problem, as we have seen repeatedly in Europe. When they can't get a gun, they use a bomb, or a truck, or a knife. Guns are not the problem, the problem is murderous people. Get the murderous people put away and all the guns in the world won't kill anyone. Guns are a device, a tool, an instrument. Do you know the #3 and #4 most used weapons for murder? Guns are #1, knives are #2, #3 is screwdrivers, and #4 is automobiles. Would you like to institute screwdriver control? How about automobile control? Would you like to sue Ford & GM for their complicity in the murder of innocent people by people who drive their cars? How about Stanley Tools, the biggest screwdriver maker. Surely you must want to put them out of business for making such a dangerous product. I've made this analogy before and had it deleted by the powers that be, but I'll make it again anyway. Blaming the gun for killing people is like a four year old blaming the chair for tripping her. The chair didn't do it. Neither did the gun.

Congratulations on the pathetic excuse for a rebuttal.

Right it is never ever the fault of the mechanism, but of the person who employs the mechanism. WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! and WRONG!

Your argument is specious for the following reason. The law is there to determine what IS and what IS NOT what we call "acceptable human behaviour". Meaning quite simply we are all responsible for our acts.

So, when it became dreadfully apparent that high-speed was causing a very large number of deaths on highways, the speed-limit was diminished. Moreover, if you want to take a super-charged racing-vehicle on the highway to impress everybody else, you do so to your own regret.

Americans seem to think that "freedom" has no limits. But it does! When your freedom to act impinges upon my freedom to exist, it is UNACCEPTABLE. Whatever that activity may be is for the law of the land to both DECIDE-AND-EXECUTE! (And when a national gun association can manipulate the law of the land by the designation of campaign funding, then that should be declared unlawful as well!)

There is no reason on earth that any high-powered rapidly-repeating arm should be available to the general public (at all)! None, nada, niente, rien, kine, zip, tipota! (Do you get it!?!)

Moreover, here is the result of a Gallup-poll (US) regarding that matter (from here):

So, yes, just less than two-thirds of the American adult-age population think we've got a gun-abuse problem and the laws should be applied more strictly ... !

PS: Moreover, around 40 to 50% of the population "personally worry about this problem a great deal" (Also from the above source.)

Actually, the speed limit was reduced in the 1970s for fuel efficiency reasons, not safety. The law was repealed in 1995.

"The National Maximum Speed Law (NMSL) was a provision of the federal government of the United States 1974 Emergency Highway Energy Conservation Act that prohibited speed limits higher than 55 miles per hour (89 km/h). It was drafted in response to oil price spikes and supply disruptions during the 1973 oil crisis and remained the law until 1995.

While federal officials hoped gasoline consumption would fall by 2.2%, the actual savings were estimated at between 0.5% and 1%. ...

The law's safety benefit is disputed as research found conflicting results."

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Maximum_Speed_Law

This is not about freedom, it's about logic. Guns kill people in the same way that forks make you fat.

Oh, come off it - will you? Europe has had more than its fair-share of domestic violence perpetrated by Militant Islamists. (Home bred, btw.)

They have all perpetrated their misdeeds with Kalashnikovs bought on the black-market and smuggled into the EU.

They have killed a good number of people, particularly in France. Why? Because France has a significant population of North African muslims.

I know these Muslim-people. They are fine and upstanding individuals who dislike intensely the extremist-perversity of some of their kind.

But, we cannot blame an entire people for the dramatic actions of just a few. That's as regards Europe, because in the US the public-manslaughter is more both highly personal and public in nature ... and less political. One of the richest countries in the world has some people who must show their fellow mankind how disgusted they are of them. And because they are not the least bit courageous, after murdering others they kill themselves to avoid jail-sentence perpetuity ...
