I'm saying the root source for this article (The New York Times) is an unconfirmed tax return, that if legit, was illegal obtained and shared and has NO SOURCES to confirm it. They NY Times is propaganda.

Meanwhile, they have a bigger story they can prove with China Joe Biden and they refuse to even report it.

 

Why would Joe Blow Citizen need to publicly release tax records? Trump assured Team USA he would. He did not. He is hiding them, even fighting to keep them hidden but he is about to be blown out of the water by SCOTUS. Yes, Trump was under audit. His history shows that his organization usually bends tax laws to the breaking point, far more aggressively than is typical in the commercial real estate industry.

Democrats have not been the authors of any major tax legislation since the Carter Administration. The regulation you’re referring to was championed by Republican and agreed to because the GOP was on one of its periodic threats to shut the government down in the middle of a depression.

You also conveniently forgot to mention that one of Trump’s campaign promises was to eliminate that very tax gimmick. Of course, this sort of thing is far too detailed for the average Trumpster. Anyway, while Trump was busy waving his arms and bellowing over some made up nonsense, Mnuchin was busy making that provision remained in the Trump tax bill.

Publically to release a tax return is not an issue for a lawyer.

Why would a taxpayer worry about releasing their tax return to the public?

The IRS already has that return, whether tge IRS agrees like it or not!

The ONLY reason for the public to not see Trump's tax return is the public would see the unending lies from Trump. Lies that are becoming public day by day.

Of course, Trump also doesn't want anyone else to see how badly all of his business partners, customers, etc., that Trump has screwed and lied to.
