The PRESIDENTIAL RECORDS ACT rules the FAKE Indictment brought against me by the Department of Injustice and Deranged Jack Smith. They never even mention this FACT, and should be severely sanctioned for that and the WEAPONIZATION of Law Enforcement. I have been illegally TARGETED by very corrupt DOJ & FBI Trump Hating Thugs!!!

The photos have already been provided. And Trump has repeatedly, publicly admitted that he took the docs. Your evasions aren't going to work, bud.

He's saying Trump is a liar, and never had the docs. Oh, wait... is he calling Trump a liar now, or then? Oops. Turrible position to be in.

They're actually serious that this proves Trump & Co were "subpoena"cooperative? LOL

Sperry and Trump, who re-posted it , both conveniently forgot to mention all the electronic info, behind the scene MaL security footage and stolen classified documents that the FBI recovered after Trump supposedly "subpoena" cooperated .

What about those "gaps" in the 2 subpoenaed MaL surveillance footage?
Does Smith have evidence on how that just miraculously happened ?
    Fried Calamari anyone?

    Another great read from Wheeler.

    Yuscil Taveras: IT Contractor

    Carlos Deoliveir: Longtime maintenance guy

'POOF! HOW JACK SMITH MADE 800,000 PAGES INTO 4,500'
    July 13, 2023

    snip:

'Update: ABC reports that the guy who handled the surveillance video has received a target letter.

Special counsel Jack Smith in recent weeks transmitted a target letter to the staffer indicating that he might have perjured himself during a May appearance before the federal grand jury hearing evidence in the classified documents probe, the sources told ABC News.

    [snip]

Reached Thursday by ABC News, the employee declined to answer questions about a possible target letter and his discussions with investigators, saying only, “It’s none of your business.”

Stanley Woodward, a lawyer who has represented the employee and who represents several other Trump advisers, declined to comment to ABC News.

By description (see this post for background), this is the IT contractor Yuscil Taveras (whom NYT described to be represented by Woodward) not longtime maintenance guy Carlos Deoliveira (whom WaPo described to be represented by John Rowley).

This makes the timing of the discovery more interesting. The government is about to turn over DC grand jury materials and other interviews from after May 12 — that is, they haven’t yet turned over Taveras’ to Woodward. That suggests they may be about to charge him before they turn that over.

Taveras testified to the DC grand jury, so if he is charged with perjury, he’ll be charged there.

This likely complicates Woodward’s life significantly.'

    "A Beautiful Mind"

A great book and a spectacular movie.

'TRUMP’S “BEAUTIFUL MIND PAPER BOXES:” JACK SMITH’S POINTS OF LEVERAGE' '

    Snip:

'Whatever these documents are, his closest aides considered him to be obsessed with them. Employee 2 — according to WaPo, this is Trump’s then-Executive Assistant, Molly Michael — described the boxes as Trump’s “beautiful mind paper boxes” as she debated with a colleague about where to stash them. Trump went to great lengths to curate and keep these documents; they became tied to his self-imagination of power, it seems. He told Evan Corcoran, “I don’t want anybody looking, I don’t want anybody looking through my boxes, I really don’t, I don’t want you looking through my boxes.” As bad as it is for Trump that the government seized these documents from him, it might pose a far greater injury to his ego if they were shared in court for all the world to see who he really was. We’re all going to get to look at Trump’s boxes if this goes to trial. All of us.

And while the timing of this prosecution cannot be predicted (aside from that the CIPA process will take a lot of time), such an injury to Trump’s ego might be greater if “his” boxes were to become public in the middle of the general election, which is about the earliest that might happen.

So, bizarrely, as hard as it would be for the spooks to declassify these for trial, it might do as much damage to Trump’s psyche to have the contents of “his” “beautiful mind paper boxes” shared for the entire world to see. It would shred the sense of power that he derived from them (and in many cases, would show that many of his public claims about what — say — Mark Milley had really said were false). And so keeping them secret might be something about which Trump and DOJ could come to some kind of agreement.

But that’s not the only point of leverage that Smith has.'

First off, I think it's TERRIBLE of this website not to have a permanent forum dedicated to all of Donald Trump's legal issues... it's much more warranted that the COVID forum, which is now obsolete.

I have to go back many pages to find a 'general' thread on the Classified Documents indictment, and not a bunch of conspiracy threads...

    Mods? How about it?

Meanwhile, here is a filing by team Loser that I would have no problem granting the defense.

    SNIP
Former President Donald Trump's attorneys have asked the federal judge overseeing his classified documents case to approve a special facility at his Mar-a-Lago estate for him to be able to discuss classified evidence with his legal team "as necessary to prepare an adequate defense," they said in legal filing Wednesday.

Trump attorneys specifically asked that a previous facility Trump used at Mar-a-Lago while serving as president -- where he was previously permitted to discuss and review classified information -- be re-established so he can now discuss classified materials shared with his legal team by special counsel Jack Smith in the classified documents case.

With the caveat that it's ONLY at MAL (he doesn't get one at Bedminster), I have no problem with this. Sure, it's a special accomodation for a man with huge special needs, but this should move things along.

    Grant this, Loose Cannon...

Trump will foam at the mouth when hearing this latest out of Jack Smith's office.
So sad that he can't express what he's feeling. lol

'Jack Smith adds war crimes prosecutor -- his deputy from the Hague -- to special counsel team'

The special counsel’s office is gearing up to put Donald Trump on trial in two criminal cases next year.

Special counsel Jack Smith has added a veteran war crimes prosecutor — who served as Smith’s deputy during his stint at the Hague — to his team as it prepares to put former President Donald Trump on trial in Washington and Florida.

Alex Whiting worked alongside Smith for three years, helping prosecute crimes against humanity that occurred in Kosovo in the late 1990s. The Yale-educated attorney also worked as a prosecutor with the International Criminal Court from 2010 to 2013. He has taught law classes at Harvard since 2007 as well, hired as an assistant professor by then-Dean Elena Kagan — now a Supreme Court justice — and rising to a visiting professorship in 2013.

Whiting’s precise role on Smith’s team is unclear. A spokesperson for Smith declined to comment, and Whiting did not immediately return requests for comment. The prosecutors’ office in the Hague and Harvard University also did not respond to requests for comment about Whiting’s current employment status.

But a POLITICO reporter observed Whiting at the U.S. district courthouse in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday and Thursday, spending several hours monitoring the trial of a Jan. 6 defendant. The judge in the case is Tanya Chutkan, who is slated to preside over Trump’s trial in March on federal charges stemming from his efforts to subvert the 2020 election.'
