they don't draw a salary from their foundation and those donations are not a source of income for them.

andyes, they give 5% of their income to charity EVERY year.

Unlike donnie who apparently hasn't given a dime to his foundation in 8 years and since he refuses to release any tax returns, the world can't see exactly how much of his supposed billions and billions he devotes to good works. Trumpettes simply believe him when he says how concerned he is for the poor and how magnanimous he is.

I think that anyone who runs his company into the ground four times shouldn't be running for president on the I'm-a-good--businessman platform..

Yes, especially if you manage to bankrupt a casino, more than once.

Hillary takes all sorts of donations from the most unscrupulous sources so based on your logic she is lying about her opposition to Citizens United. Based on her record, she is its staunchest supporter.

The tax forms reviewed the same IRS that targeted conservatives? Excuse us while we laugh. Hillary sold govt access for personal profit and got away with it. The IRS is a joke, the DOJ is a joke and the once great FBI under Comeys leadership has become a water cooler joke.
Clinton, Comey and Lynch need to share a jail cell.

Can you give us one example of that, please?

Details - dates, amounts, exactly what government access was obtained?

Did you see photos of inside Trump's apt at Trump Tower.. Today Netanyahu visited.. Talk about tacky.... The Saudi royals decorated like that 50 years ago.

What, then I accidentally get killed with a barbell? No thanks.
There is more than enough circumstantial evidence to show she is guilty of racketeering. Blagojevich got 14 years in prison for far less. The difference being Hillary Clinton is above the law. If we did what she did we would be facing a life term in prison. She gets a free pass because of people like you. It makes me sick.

Middle class people work, too, and know that even with a decent grubstake it takes real work to succeed.

When you're playing on the scale that he was, a million is not enough to make it "easy".

Granted that people that have to walk to work carrying their lunch and do heavy labor all day have it just as hard.

Well, it takes mostly luck to succeed. Being lucky enough to be born in the right family and having a father who can lend you money is a considerable advantage.

Stumbling on a billion-dollar idea is also somewhat related to chance when you think about it and has very little do to with hard work. Even though it may be hard work to make it prosper.

Thankfully, nobody in their right mind is planning on voting for Trump.

He has a lot of money to fall back on when he LOSES.

    Trump is toast.

No one builds an international business, or even a small local one, without some hard work. Only non-workers believe otherwise.

    So no actual evidence, then.

"People like me?" People like me want to see actual evidence of wrongdoing before concluding that someone is "crooked". I see a lot of conclusions that Hillary is "crooked", but have not been pointed to the evidence that supports that conclusion.

This is confirmation bias at the extreme. People don't like Hillary, therefore are prepared to believe she is crooked, therefore will accept the most tenuous link in order to reach the conclusion that they were ready to reach in the first place.

The point of the OP is not whether or not Trump is a successful businessman. He clearly is.

The point is not whether or not he used his advantages as well as others might have, or better, or worse. He has almost certainly done better than most people who started with similar advantages.

The real point of the OP is that Trump's son claimed he started with "almost nothing". That is demonstrably not true. He started with more than most people can ever imagine achieving in their entire lifetime. If the Trump family thinks that is "almost nothing" it shows that they are out of touch with the common family in America.

And if you think that the people that walk to work carrying their lunch and do heavy labor all day have it "just as hard" you are also out of touch. I am fortunate that I no longer have to do that, but I did once and people who do that day in and day out have it much harder than someone who gets a $1million loan when he is in his twenties to start developing real estate.

That is the point of the OP.

    You started this with:

I ask for evidence of this and you fail to provide it. Evidence with details - dates, people, amounts, the access that was provided etc.

Some actual evidence - and you can't or won't provide it. Over to you.

Did you send me an email? I haven't received one.

I asked again for evidence of your assertion:

"Hillary sold govt access for personal profit and got away with it."

Details. I want to see the details. What access. To whom. When. What personal profit.

"Fail" doesn't really help me find the evidence. Until you provide details that support this assertion, it is just an assertion without evidence and should be dismissed.

You don't think it's logical that if Hillary takes all sorts of donations from all kinds of unscrupulous and outright disgusting donors (like the Saudi royal family) she is the supporter and the benefactor of Citizens United? If she is against Citizens United, why is she not rejecting theze donations?

Yep it ain't logical. Guess you aren't familiar with the term fallacious logic.
As for "the benefactor" surely you meant to say "a benefactor" since all politicians and their bag men are covered by CU. Including the orange haired WLB.
