Those of us with a modicum of intellect and objectivity have known trump is a crook, long before last August.

And now its actually "official". According to the his own Justice Department Trump has committed a couple of felonies. And this is just the hors d'oeuvres of Mueller's Christmas Dinner for America. The next couple of weeks is going to be seriously interest.

That's up to Congress. It is my understanding that a sitting President is immune from criminal prosecution aside from Impeachment. If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong. And paying someone to sign an NDA is not illegal.

 

I spent most of the night watching many different stations, and different programs (Hannity, Maddox, Ingram, etc), and what was eye opening to me was this: Every station had the same take on the memo’s released on Cohen and Manafort (abc, cbs, nbc, msnbc, cnn etc). They all pointed to the fact that Trump knew about the payments, etc. They all pointed to the comments about the Russian contacts and communications etc.

Then I turned to Fox News and was utterly stunned at their take that “there is absolutly NOTHING here”. I mean I was STUNNED. I now know why the right is so misinformed. To say that their is “nothing in the memos” is utterly ridiculous. the memos actually say that the “Cohen made illegal payments at the direction of Trump”. Laura Ingram had 4 people on her panel, 3 of which all said “nothing there”, “its ridiculous”, “mueller is making them say these things”, “prosecutors run amok”, and these 3 were all political pundits. But then the 4th guy jumped in, and he was an ex federal prosecutor. He started to make the case that their may be something here, and as soon as he started to point out facts from the memos, Laura shut him down with “I don’t believe that”. Was absolutely stunning to watch. Hannity and his guests all had the same take. But the biggest thing in both of these shows was this, they keep saying that “mueller is forcing these people to lie”. That’s Avery dangerous thing to say, but they have gone all in on their “everyone is lying to hurt trump”

Put this into context.......EVERY news station had the same take on the memos........except one......so what we can take from this is, EVERY news station lies except one....hmmmmmmmm.......who could that be.......The rights war on the truth needs no more help than Fox News. It’s just amazing to watch them claim that everyone but them is lying. It’s like the little kid who gets in trouble at school, and when dad comes to the school the kid tells him “all the other kids are making things up”.......

I actually had the big picture by 7:30, so watched a hockey game... it was a little overwhelming for those previous 3 hours, but eventually clear.

I salute you for at least trying to watch Fox... I'm just not sure I can, because I end up yelling at my TV.

I can imagine it was an eye opener though... Fox is doing a legitimate disservice to the country by not pointing out the seriousness of what we saw tonite...

 

There's nothing really surprising about that. Fux isn't news...its garbage for the ignorant and they'll seek to keep dumb people dumb. It serves them well...that's who the large majority of their viewers are. Most of them aren't even actual reporters. At the end of the day, it won't matter and it will just make their eventual demise even funnier.

All the fools and dupes who've supported this lifelong criminal, racist thug will be brought low. And he'll be the biggest embarrassment in American history.

My job and the job of all decent Americans is to NEVER let a trump supporter forget what they are and what they supported. Never...let them live with the disgusting shame of it for the rest of their lives.

Trump could kill his wife and burn the flag on live tv, and they still wouldn't be able to muster up the 20 GOP Votes in the Senate needed to get to 67 (for conviction and removal).

That may be true, though I find it completely unlikely. Such an egregious crime would almost certainly result in a 100% vote to remove, regardless of party lines. And then, properly, a criminal prosecution.

 

From what I have seen from Cocaine Mitch, I have my doubts.

I used to watch CNN for years until Trump ran for President. Since then its been 24/7 gloom and doom all day every day. They have made so many false predictions on Trump nobody is listening any more. They have become the lowest rated cable news provider coming in under the Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. Thats pretty bad.

Fox actually is rated number 1 but I don't count Hannity, He is just repetitive. The Liberal media groups have been forecasting the end of Trump so many times for the last 2 years its become laughable. They pick apart every word and never report a single positive note on this administration. You know the bias is bad when they will tear apart anyone the administration nominate's even those who were beloved by Democrats in the past.

When you can't even give a fair report on others just because they were selected by Trump or happen to be in his cabinet it shows just how bias the network is. CNN has been burned so many times with fake news it has driven the viewer ratings about a low as a news broadcaster can get. I don't believe a word of what they spew out these days.

Consider the fact there are people pretending to know something about the law claiming Cohen's deal confirms something.
