It was said best during the campaign: Clinton and Obama lie like politicians; Trump lies like a three-year-old.

By any objective measure, Trump's lies are off the charts in terms of quantity and scope.

It's like you want to pretend that Obama telling a lie and Trump telling 5,000 lies are somehow morally equivalent. They are not.

Further, when Clinton or Obama lied, I would actually call them out on it. I criticized Clinton, for instance, for some of her self-serving statements about her emails. I criticized the way she and Bill handled their foundation.

You, on the other hand, support the biggest liar in American history. You NEVER call him out for his lies, but then ou want to criticize people you don't like for lying. It doesn't work that way.

Either get a moral compass, or just stop trying to condemn other people for lying.

 

In fact he called for the executive branch to revolt against the elected president - a coup.

 

On Monday's broadcast of MSNBC's "All In" Contributor and former Whatagate prosecutor Jill Wine-Banks stated that Trump's appearance at Helsinki "will live in infamy as much as the Pearl Harbor sneak attack or Kristallnacht."

Wine-Banks stated that the perpetrators in Watergate were Americans and that in 2016, “we were burglarized, this time, by foreign agents. And it’s just as serious to me as the Cuban Missile Crisis, in terms of an attack, or the 9/11 attack. The president is taking the side of the people who attacked us instead of trying to prevent a future attack. He has done nothing to make sure that the elections four months away are going to be safe. And I would say that his performance today will live in infamy as much as the Pearl Harbor attack or Kristallnacht. And it’s really a serious issue that we need to deal with.”

WHAT'S NEW ABOUT BETRAYING THE US TO A FOREIGN POWER?

The only thing new about this most recent betrayal of American interests to a foreign power is that its' not betraying the US to Israel.

Why are so many Americans suddenly so concerned about a foreign power manipulating America's elections & infecting the highest levels of US Government when the Israeli lobbies and the 40 Congressmen who are Israeli citizens have been doing just that for 70 years?

Influential Israeli lobbies have ensured that only Israeli - American "Dual" Citizens can hold Congressional offices & have consistently sacrificed thousands of US lives, countless $ Trillions & America's strategic interests for Israel & there's not a whimper of outrage from MSM.

Suddenly when a US President grovels before a leader who is not an Israeli, the MSM outrage is deafening.

 

Listening to all the rhetoric from both the right and left, I wonder what they actually expected to hear from Trump as he sat across from Putin. I understand the deranges lefties because there is absolutely nothing Trump could have said that would quell their intense hatred for him but that aside, did anyone expect Trump would look over at Putin and call him a fricking tyrant and we will get even with you for messing with our elections (even though the US meddles in elections in most countries with which we have an interest) so never close both eyes at the same time.
Trump could have chosen better words but his future actions will tell the tale. I still subscribe to the theory "keep your friends close and your enemies closer."

 

Brennan is a patriot and he is ringing the warning bell that something is deathly wrong.

 

If Trump is afforded no allowance to operate within the zone of diplomacy when meeting the leaders of foreign countries let's just declare war now and get it the hell over with, win or lose, live or die.

 

You do make a valid point. My retort is that we should always take a consistent position on this type of treasonous politics.

Trump won many votes because he promised "America first". But his actions are clearly the diametric opposite of what he pledged. So where is the objection from the far right? In fact, their silence is equally deafening.

I suggested that to one of our usual suspects last night and was met with silence. These people are beyond insane and I suspect is is because they are slowly coming to the conclusion there is no blue wave so its now full tilt boogie insanity.
