Who was it that Murdoch failed to get elected that has different policies in Iraq and Afghanistan? Obama's Sec of State was one of the biggest supporters of the Iraq campaign. Obama says he supported the Afghanistan campaign and has increased our forces there.

Yes Fox has divided the country from people wanting to know and people who want to just believe what their Party tells them. If not for Fox putting on the pressure, America would have still believed the attack in Libya was an act of showing that movie and not a terror attack. We would still be believing that no help was asked for and none was sent. That no one is to blame for three American deaths. Now we know much of the truth. Now maybe we can fix it so it doesn't happen again. Thanks Fox.

He was wrong, but I doubt it was a lie. I can't believe Romney would lie about something like that knowing it could be proven wrong right from the bat. I do believe he got some wrong advise about Jeep. But I'm sure unless your willing to look at it logically, you can believe it was a lie.

Roger Ailes & Co. are pikers compared to Barack Obama & Co., but we don't hear the Left bleating about how he has eagerly pitted American against American for his own self-aggrandizement.

 

What advantage would Fox get out of (skewing the polls). To make many Republicans believe that Romney has such a big lead would only cause many Republicans to stay home and not fight those long lines at the polls? That would hurt, not help. The two who were predicting a big win weren't using their heads. I said on here a couple of times to fellow Republicans, don't be to sure of yourself. I thought if Romney won, it would be real close. I don't know how many thought Romney would walk away with it. He made to many mistakes and I pointed many of them out at the time.

 

An entire winning Presidential campaign ran on class warfare and racial inequality just happened, but we are to believe that a cable news outlet is the root cause of the divisiveness.

No, see, that's not it. It's not that we cannot tolerate differing viewpoints or that we lose the debate. It's that many people are too (*)(*)(*)(*)ing stupid to notice when they're wrong, when they lost the debate, or when there's not even a debate at all! Obama is not a Marxist. The problem with American discourse is, as I said above, those who just don't get it. The people who think that Obama is a socialist, or a Marxist, or is trying to take our guns. The people who think he's a Kenyan Muslim intent on taking over the free world. The people that no amount of education will ever reach, and who will continue to effectively skew our political discourse because they bought into the utter crap that sources like WND and Infowars push. Well, he was directly refuted by Jeep's CEO almost immediately after making the statement and refused to retract it. So there's that. But really, are we going to play the "Well, maybe he was mistaken" game? Because if so, then Obama didn't lie about Romney's stance on abortion.

 

One thing both sides do that gets me. Both sides are so eager to call the other a liar, rather than look at the whole thing and say to yourself does it make sense?

Here we have Democrats begging people to go to the polls and vote. They encourage people to help others that haven't a way to get there to help them out. Then they want people to believe that Fox believes that Romney has such a big lead that there is no urgency to vote. Does that make any sense?

Same with thinking Romney purposely lied about Jeep moving to China. Would he actually say that knowing that it could be shown to be a lie in a matter of seconds?

That's why I say there is a difference of being wrong and telling a lie. But both sides are guilty of not looking at the whole picture and trying to determine if it's a dumb mistake or lie. We throw the word lie around way to much when it doesn't fit the situation. When it doesn't make a lick of sense.

 

Jeep will move to China.

It's only a matter of time.

First they set up the factory in China for the Chinese market.

In a few years that factory will be running smoothly and the Chrysler/Fiat accountants will notice that a Jeep built in China costs much less than the same Jeep built in Detroit and the US plant will be history.
