So here you excuse a game that involves Christians killing nonbelievers who refuse to convert, but you assume the zombie game being discussed in this thread represents most liberals. How ridiculous is that?

 

They are not for no taxes. That is ridiculous.

Why not try something different though? Like a national sales tax? Why cant we get some 'change' as most President Obama supporters ask for?

The reason is simple: The Government fears change.

 

Well a national sales tax would shift the entire tax burden on the middle class.

A flat tax is simply the most reasonable and equitable solution.

 

You have a very warped sense of the Tea Party. The tea party says they are done paying taxes so the illiterate, ignorant masses do not get a free lunch. You do realize that most tea party members are the working class, the middle class, the small business owner. The productive class makes up the tea party and they are tired of the liberals giving our hard earned money to those who wish to do nothing. We are tired that the middle class continues to be pressed for more and more, given away to the unproductive class, and the crony capitalism.

 

How is that? If a rich person buys a $100 million house, he gets hit with the tax.

Or heck, I'd even say flat tax, lets just try something different for a few years. Think outside the box. If it does not work we can always come back to the current tax code(mess) we have.

Yeah because a rich person spends all his money in the usa on goods that would be taxed with a sales tax.

No there comes a point where a wealthy person can have everything they want for far less than their income could spend. Thus is the farce of a national sales tax.

BTW a wealthy person could just reside in another country, enjoy tax free income, and make no purchases in the usa while enjoying the legal status of a citizen.

 

Well I hope you don't take this too personally but I don't trust the Tea Party, not individuals, but the so called Tea Party platform. For one, less gov., is not the answer and is actually a very ignorant approach, it is a very delicate balance, yet never is that spoken. Two, while one may naturally argue about wanting to pay less taxes, we are not even close to being over taxed nor are the uber wealthy being over taxed. The out-of-control spending must be worked out, that I agree 100%, but to drastically cut Dept and programs is folly. The interrelationships between all branches, depts, and etc of govt is tightly bounded, so to remove one area would have an effect on all.

Finally in my area, the Tea Party is spending $Ms in lobbying efforts to repeal the Net Neutrality Act, yet nary a one has ever been able to address that subject. In fact, few even know that is going on, hence I find their claim of being more aware of govt and party operations a bit vain.

 

I hope yer not waitin' for 60+ year old, overweight, white women with too-tight stretchy shorts and tattoos on their calves to do any shootin'. That would be a mistake. They are loud at rallies where they seem to comprise a majority of your splinter group.

Lets see, the Left behind books never mention going out and killing non-believers. That was never a call for "war" by the authors. The premis for the survivors "left behind" after the rapture was to try to survive and help others survive by being covert. Now, you think a game that is the complete opposite of the books, but using the title is comparable to this?

This Zombie game comes out right after several leaders of the left call for "war" and violent rhetoric against the TEA party and GOP, and you think this is just a lone "game maker"? You really don't see a difference here? Could this guys be working alone, yes. Is it just a "coincedence" that the game comes out now, maybe. Does it have that "civil discourse" the left has called for, HELL NO.

 

The left is showing its true colors and probably embarrassing the hell out of any sane, non-eccentrics that may still, for whatever possible reason, remain in that abysmal political party. Only the nitwits that are sufficiently warped by their pathological hatred of middle America have the audacity to even try to offer a lame defense for their foolish leaders' incendiary ranting and raving. Do the facts mean anything to you? We spend less on gov (with all its waste and abuse) as a percent of GDP than just about any non-third world country on the planet, despite our bloated military. Which simply means that we spend less on our society than anybody else. Your contention that the government is bloated is unsupportable.

“Tea Party Zombies Must Die” was created by StarvingEyes Advergaming, an advertising agency that boasts Meow Mix and Pepsi as clients.

The video game allows players to shoot or hack up Sarah Palin, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Newt Gingrich, Brit Hume, Michele Bachmann, Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum, Glenn Beck, the Koch Brothers, and Barbie-like Fox News and Americans For Prosperity employees.

Americans For Prosperity is a front group for oil billionaire David Koch and Richard Fink. AFP is a major player in creating and funding the hijacked Tea Party. FreedomWorks is also responsible for sanitizing the original Tea Party of its Libertarian origins and turning it into a harmless cheering section for the establishment Republican Party.

In addition to high profile politicians such as Palin and Bachmann, the game allows players to murder “generic” white people who are outraged by an out of control federal government.

Despite the obvious adolescent nature of the video game, it reveals how some liberals and Democrats feel about the political opposition – they want to kill them.

The false right-left paradigm was designed to channel hatred and violence away from the plutocratic elite. “Tea Party Zombies Must Die” is a perfect example of a two minute hate session where hand-picked Tea Party stand-ups like Palin and Bachmann are offered up for sacrifice, albeit as mindless zombies in a virtual world.

I don't base my standards on socialist European countries that are in financial chaos. I want less government and more freedom, including financial freedom. That includes a smaller military. That doesn't make me a freakin' racist.

This game is not cool.

However, it's not really a "Game" in the traditional sense...it's not being distributed and it's not being sold.

It's a flash game on a website......Not sure how you regulate that. I suppose whoever hosts the servers should be shamed. That's probably the way to go about it.

 

No one on the right has suggested regulation of course. They are into that whole freedom thing. It is just an example and fruit of some of the vile rhetoric that is coming from many on the left after Obama gave his whole "righties need to tone down their rhetoric" speech.
