So governments have a demonstrated pattern of tyranny. Our own history proves this. You need me to spell it out or something? I never said I was going to "overthrow" anything. I said an armed populace is a check on tyranny. And it is. That is why the second amendment was ratified in the first place. Go read a history book or something. The people who founded this country don't agree. And they are much smarter than you will ever hope to be. So I will defer to their judgment.
That's what Democrats do whenever there is no one to oppose them. Just look at Chicago and Washington DC, for example. Democrats effectively banned all guns in both cities. That is what Democrats do when they have power: They ban guns. So you can make whatever claims you like, but your actions tell the real story. Maybe some day Americans will be gullible and stupid enough to believe your promises, but that day has not come yet.
What makes you think the US military would go along with your tyrannical fantasies? Most veterans I served with are 100% pro-gun.
Actually, they've put hundreds of billions into the pockets of pharmaceutical corporations while turning a quarter of the population into sickly zombies. But liberals want a weakened, stupid population. It makes it easier for them to control society.
Well you clearly miss the point, I'm hardly surprised! This is the very reason the leftist fail at reform, no matter what you put in front of them they always cling to their own tangent and that train of thought is ABSOLUTE lmfao
Supremely constructed. Read every comment on the thread, and perfectly defended as well. Wonder post. Should be nominated for best thread. May I share?
Never had any problems with suicidal tendencies due to the medicines, let alone digestion or blood pressure. I have some advice on this issue; don't make **** up. When you make **** up, people will call you out on making **** up.
O rly? And what, pray tell, are these magical solutions that would stop me from jumping in front of a train?
I'll admit, that was a bit of a rhetorical flourish. But I will say in all seriousness that there are better ways of dealing with depression and anxiety than a steady regime of pills. Humans managed to get by without these synthetic drugs for their entire existence up until now. There are lots of natural, far healthier alternatives that, incidentally, big pharma lobbies to keep illegal.
He/she has a point. A chemical imbalance is merely a symptom of something deeper, like unresolved emotional trauma. People who suffer from depression are not depressed because of some mysterious "imbalance" in chemicals, but because they are suffering emotionally, physically, spiritually, or some combination of three. Chemical therapy merely addresses the symptoms, which can be helpful, but it's not addressing the root cause of the problem.
Being pro gun doesn't mean you're pro overthrow the government. You're not a super hero. You're not going to save anyone. You're not going to overthrow the government. Your paranoid, ridiculous fantasies are not justification for kids getting murdered.
False and you're ridiculous for even saying it. The rest of what you say can be discarded because of how out of touch with reality you are
Again, you're not special and won't be called on to overthrow anything. Your paranoid fantasies aren't relevant to this debate.
Who says it has to be original? It's been brought up time and again when Americans and american children are murdered due to the absence of who can own a gun. Of course, you'll just offer your useless thoughts and prayers. You're complicit.
Your graph actually shows a meaningless comparison. What the gun homicide rate SHOULD be compared with is the % households with guns: Since the % households with guns is dropping, there is a correlation with the drop in gun deaths. What it means is that fewer Americans own guns, but the ones who do own guns keep increasing their gun stash at an exponential rate. This leads to a small majority that are obsessed with guns and who dominate the conversation on gun control --- including the public dissemination of at best misleading, or at worst plain fabricated statistics to push their obsessive pro-gun stance.
I'm glad you've never had common side effects. a close family member did, and I've spent hours researching this subject.
no, "common sense approach" ous non-value added. it's like a new vp coming on board and wanting a real cross functional synergistic approach to a specific problem that he doesn't grasp. what does this approach entail, because the truth is progressives can't sell gun confiscation. So, they wrap it in a nice slogan that their minions will go spread around. these minions do it willfully feeling good that they're really making a difference and showing that they truly care, lol.
Actually, before antidepressants, people simply killed themselves or went through life unable to work or achieve anything.
So...instead of medication, you suggest medication? Oh, but it's "natural", meaning you have no control over what substances it contains, at what doses, and how it is released and processed in the body. That's not better.
