Hannity signals imminent end of Fox News Channel program

After a two decade run, is the end of Sean Hannity’s Fox News Channel program near?

Based on unusually strong hints from the host himself, the answer appears to be yes.

Under internal pressure over his pursuit of the truth behind the Seth Rich story, network suits are apparently closing in on one of the network’s remaining conservative holdouts.

In his opening segment tonight, Hannity told viewers, “I promise that I will continue to tell the truth. As for my future at Fox News, Media Matters is attacking. The Left is organizing an advertising boycott. I will continue to do my job to the best of my ability. I serve at the pleasure of Fox News.”

More ominously, he concluded at 11pm by saying, “hopefully, I will see you again tomorrow night.”

He's pissed as hell that someone upstairs gave him the gag order on the assassination of Seth Rich. I could see it in his tone and body language. Can't say that I blame him either. I'm really surprised that FOX brought back Tucker Carlson given their weirdness lately. Their election night coverage actually sucked, just a few talking heads talking about nothing. I switched over and flipped between CNN and MSNBC to watch Wolf Blitzer's head explode and Mad Cow wither like the witch in the Wizard of Oz.

The circumstances of what happened next are still unclear. We know that Seth was abruptly confronted on the street, that he had been on the phone and quickly ended the call. We also know that there were signs of a struggle, including a watchband torn when the assailants attempted to rip it off his wrist. Law-enforcement officials told us that Seth’s murder looked like a botched robbery attempt in which the assailants — after shooting our son — panicked, immediately ran and abandoned Seth’s personal belongings. We have seen no evidence, by any person at any time, that Seth’s murder had any connection to his job at the Democratic National Committee or his life in politics. Anyone who claims to have such evidence is either concealing it from us or lying.

Still, conservative news outlets and commentators continue, day after painful day, to peddle discredited conspiracy theories that Seth was killed after having provided WikiLeaks with emails from the DNC. Those theories, which some reporters have since retracted, are baseless, and they are unspeakably cruel.

We know that Seth’s personal email and his personal computer were both inspected by detectives early in the investigation and that the inspection revealed no evidence of any communications with anyone at WikiLeaks or anyone associated with WikiLeaks.

Nor did that inspection reveal any evidence that Seth had leaked DNC emails to WikiLeaks or to anyone else. Indeed, those who have suggested that Seth’s role as a data analyst at the DNC gave him access to a wide trove of emails are simply incorrect — Seth’s job was to develop analytical models to encourage voters to turn out to vote. He didn’t have access to DNC emails, Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee emails, John Podesta’s emails or Hillary Clinton’s emails. That simply wasn’t his job.


Despite these facts, our family’s nightmare persists..."

Hannity had a "heart to heart" with Seth's brother. Hannity agreed not to bring is name into it unless more information emerges.

As for Fox News, they may melt away under the Liberal Murdoch son's direction, but the result will be a new channel that replaces them. The real free market will demand it.

I hope you are right. I haven't been watching much news. The liberal bedwetting over anything Trump says has gotten so sickening I really don't care to watch much of it. Reading the liberal garbage here is getting to be a chore too, they have no interest in logic or even sanity for that matter.

 

Jonathon Rich, Seth's cousin has a different take. He believes he was murdered for knowing something. The FBI has never seen the laptop according to the media and the FBI. Who says the DC police is sophisticated enough to crack every one of his email accounts?............surely one secret one would have been used and not necessarily detectable. Only an idiot would keep documents like on a hard drive anyway. Search for a SD card or smaller micro insert, something small and easily hidden. You can put a ton of gigs on a chip smaller than a fingernail. I wonder if he could have been carrying it on him.

Frankly, I am surprised any of them are on. These idiots are the real problem with our Media, opinion peddled as news on a talk show. Oldermann was the same thing. So is Chris Matthews. It's absurd. They should all be relegated to "Opinion Matters Syndicate TV" and not allowed on news outlets.

 

There is NO greater mistake any person, business or country can make than to let your adversaries dictate what you may and may not do. If FOX dumps Hannity - and I don't care much for him - FOX goes into a death spiral. But since ALL networks and ALL the press are now just propaganda advertising outlets of the global elites and international corporations, they likely do not care anyway.

Then again, since only 6% of voters EVER watch ANY cable news on any network, it doesn't really matter. Most intelligent people and even average people who are not totally submissive beta personalities for which such voices on cable news are the prophets of their corporate gods understate it is just all propaganda trying to get people to listen by constantly presenting hyperventilating panic-attack hysteria.
