I was out west last week Colorado, statewide mask mandate.

NOT enforced on the trails, only indoor spaces.

 

I don't believe... a person needs authority to make a request.

Turns out he asked the governors. Which is perfect.

I wish my governor would mandate it. Avoids a lot of individual decisions with cities & stores, just one authority simplifies everything.

 

Masks don't prevent disease all that well. But they soothe the soul.

What precedent? Where is the power to order everyone wear a mask delegated to the Preisdent in the Constitution. The 10th LIMITS the federal government and President to only what is explicitly authorized in the Constitution so where in the Constitution is this power delegated to the President? How would Biden enforce it? If I am sitting on my back porch is he going to have me arrested if I don't have a mask on?

One, it is a stupid ineffective demagogic idea. Why should a farmer combining corn and 300 acres away from another person be required to wear a mask, for just one example? Secondly, how would it be enforced? Have every FBI agent, US Marshall, and DHS inspector patrol every town and farm? How would they get around the state governors and mayors -- even of the same Party -- kicking them out? Two, they do not have the authority to do it. However, neither of these points would deter in any way Biden/Harris policies.

 

They are only candidates. They can say what they would do, but they are fifty tokes over the line in telling people what to do.

 

Then he is suggesting nothing different that is being done now but what he said was he wants a mandate for anytime anyone is outside. That's absurd, a rancher in Wyoming in the middle of his 300 acres with no one around? Me sitting on my backporch or even my front porch during the day? The task force and CDC issued the guidance for the Governors and local officials who are tailoring for their own communities we are not on homogeneous country.

And again why didn't Biden take any questions about his and Harris plan? How would he as President right now be able to tell everyone exactly when they will get a vaccination as Harris demanded?

 

Masks do not prevent the spread of viruses. Their pores are much too large. You are attempting to prevent the spread of water by using a spaghetti strainer...

Also, such mask mandate policies are treating all people as if they have COVID. That is bigotry, dude... There is NO reason whatsoever for a healthy person to wear a mask; THEY AREN'T SICK... They don't have the virus... They can't spread a virus that they don't have...

It also seems as if you are joining in with the nonsensical mantra of The Cult of the Mask that "my mask protects you, and your mask protects me"... That mantra, put into English, is claiming that a virus is not stopped from entering the mask via the outside air, but it somehow IS stopped from exiting the mask via a person's mouth/nose... IT'S A MAGICKAL ONE-WAY MASK!!!

Nope... The virus is still being spread around all the same... Masks do not stop viruses. UV light and immune systems stop viruses. So go out and get some sunlight!!! Maybe even consider vitamin D/zinc supplements if you aren't getting enough from your diet... Stop stressing out and fear mongering (stress is not good for one's immune system).

Do you mean N95 masks?? Those don't prevent the spread of viruses either... While better at filtering out particulates than bandanas/cloth masks/paper masks/etc, their pores are still too large for viruses...

It's a "We have to come up with something, anything to present as a 'plan'" announcement. A NATIONWIDE mandate whenever someone is outside is ridiculous. I just walked out to get the mail, I didn't need a mask. I will go to the store this afternoon with the top down on the BMW without a mask on but when I go into the store I will be wearing one. I took my dog down to the bayshore for a walk yesterday, there was no one around I didn't wear a mask.

And the Harris demanding that everyone be told exactly when they would be able to get a vaccine? Really Kamala how is Trump supposed to know that and how would a President Biden or Harris right now be able to tell everyone that.

Tell me how the Brits would feel had a candidate made such an appearance to announce their plan, threw out a few vague comments and then walked off stage without taking ONE question from the press?

 

Exactly the 10th does not grant authority TO the federal government or the President. It's the opposite.

No, it actually says that they don't, as does mathematics...

Viruses are much smaller than the pores of any mask being worn... There is also no reason to be bigoted towards healthy people by treating them as if they have an infection that they don't have... There is no reason for a healthy person to be wearing a mask around everywhere...

 

He claimed this was the plan he had his COVID advisers had come up with..............that's the best they got? And then why didn't he take any questions so the press could ask about those details?

A mask is not political, it’s medical.
Wearing a mask is to help protect others more than yourself.
What part of that is too hard to grasp?
Why are so many people so selfish and stupid?

When I was screened to get the antibody test the doctor read the riot act about wearing a mask. She said the studies show her that if you are within 6 feet of an infected person and neither has on a mask the chance of transfer is 18%. If both have a mask on it drops to 3%. About any mask will capture SOME of the virus the more layers the more it will capture. Not every virus particle will find the exact clear passage through all the cross fibers. It's all a percentage game and I wear mine when I go into a building or office and will be around other people.

 

By paying attention to all the news, not just the left wing of it.
