Do you think Trump can win Russia's help over by calling Putin a liar to his face? That is basically the position the news people put him in when they held a news conference after the meeting and they asked Trump about Russian interference. Of course he asked him and of course Putin would have said no. They wanted him to say he called Putin a liar right their on stage, probably after he asked Putin for his help with N.Korea. What would that have accomplished, beside making the news media feel good?

 

So Trump's strategy is to be a doormat. Brilliant!

You complained when he got tough with our NATO Allies not putting in enough to strengthen the Alliance. Said he is ruin nation and ruin our friendship with our Allies. Yet he got NATO to pony up another 14 billion dollars. Something Obama and Bush couldn't do.

He sent missiles to Poland to counter Russia's, when Obama pulled missile launchers out of Poland when Russia told Obama those missile could cause a war.

He sent anti tank missiles to Ukraine to counter Russian backed Ukrainians trying to take over the country after Obama refused to send weapons to Ukraine.

Trump knows when to be hard and when to be soft. He gets things done when Obama couldn't.

Mexico, Canada and S. Korea agreed to terms before we even put tariffs on them China is offering us all kind of things to keep tariffs off. First time in 13 years they are buying our beef again. Bought two huge shipments of soy beans they refused to buy when tariffs were on. For the first time in history, they are buying foreign rice from us. And then offered this.

China is buying American beef once more, something they haven't done in 13 years.

China is buying American rice from us, something they have never done before.

China just bought the second large shipment of soy beans, something she stopped when the tariff war started. We haven't even got to the hard bargaining yet.
