    I’d say NASA is a good example of a well managed tax payer funded organization that has made great strides in advancing the state of humanity. Its criminally underfunded at this point though, which is a shame.

    Renewables would offer cheaper energy solutions if we, as a nation, put more effort into its development.

    You mean the agency who's major contributions came from scientist/private industry contractors instead of government agencies?

    The government agency wing of NASA has been audited many, many times for wasting billions of dollars.

    Most recently...their global warming people. Irony.

    Climate research accurately predicts that extreme weather events will be more likely to occur. Sorry if my previous post misrepresented my point.
