Kids have Christmas reminders when the season is there. Easter is always on a Sunday so schools are closed anyway but as far as the meanings of the holidays, no it's not taught in public schools but they know from home and Muslims know what they are also. Do non Muslims know anything about second largest religion in the world? You think it's bad to teach that? The fundamentals of it? Why? As most say (right or not) this country was founded on Christian beliefs so kids are "exposed" to the pillars of Christianity everyday. The clothes Muslims wear are integral to their religion and comparing them to a priest or nun is intellectally dishonest or ignorance of what a priest and nun are as is the comparison to drag queens and satan worshipers.

It was more sane then what children are being subjected to today! Clearly you and I come from different sides of the track I grew up with little of no influence of right or wrong sexuality.
