Begin! The DNC has had that program running for almost a century... And by-golly it's working far better than they had ever imagined..

Please, fill the room with you knowledge of "what actually takes place" in schools during holidays. I gave my thoughts with examples, please PROVE me wrong. Make your case about priests and nuns and so forth.

So do you hate that I care about my neighbor and want them to do well in life? Do you hate that I think we can do better to make sure every American has equal access to good healthcare? Do you hate that I think women should be allowed to decide what happens to their bodies, just as men do? Do you hate that I want to leave our children and grandchildren with a clean, healthy and safe environment? Do you hate that I think our prescription drug costs shouldn't make people decide between eating and getting their meds? Do you hate that I think everyone should have the right to worship in their own way, provided it doesn't harm or interfere with anyone else?

And where did gays stand on your side of the tracks.
What is THEIR way.......since you put it in caps and all.
That's not true. There are some who are "loud and proud" to show others that feel the same to not be ashamed....like you would want them to. They seem unsure and confused because people like you.

Tell me.........which GOD? Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Satan........all? That what parochial schools are for if you want your kid to learn that.

No point in debating people who claim to know other peoples personal experiences better than the person actually experiencing it. You just go and on and on and on.

Not the average teacher, but they are out there you know…and they’re not out to help children. They’re helping themselves.

No, it wasn't. What was said was
"No you said that. Pope Francis has publicly stated gays should not disparaged."
Which, oh, BTW, the Pope said. Nothing about supporting gays and such. You seem out of touch with what you are actually answering.

I went through 4 pages of crap. Everyone is incredibly invested in perpetuating stereotypes, and turning this issue into a litmus test for culture war issues. This issue is not supposed to be partisan. Its supposed to be personal. Whether you choose public school, private school, charter school or homeschooling or a mix, is a very complicated and challenging decision and it depends on a whole lot of factors. Alot depends on how much confidence you have in your local school, whether you want religious education to be integral, and how much time you think you will have, whether you believe its going to be successful for you to be your own child's teacher, and whether you will be able to provide for age appropriate socialization.

I realize that this post won't fit anyone's agenda, but homeschooling can work very well, private schools can work very well and public school can be successful and they can all be complete failures. And none of this depends on whether you are a religious rightie, or a progressive leftie, or whether you adore a same sex marriage or hate them.

It depends on whether you as a parent can and will fill whatever voids, or holes in the education program you chose for your kid, and that you expose your child to experiences that the school does not, because each form has its limitations. Parents have to be prepared to supplement the education of their children. Its their duty to ensure that their kid's education is well rounded and that it prepares that child to live, and thrive as he or she moves beyond the parental home, and parental womb of ideas and values.

So far you're "personal experiences" are simply your imagination running awaya and you inability to keep straight what and to whom you are answering. So to review, the "fact" that you are having "personal experience" with and that you know better is that a gay agenda is being taught 5 days a week for 13 years....you have NO doubts about that
    AND WAIT, THERE'S MORE
My experience. You know all about my experience on what goes on in school today.....interesting. Let's see:
    My father: teacher, middle school
    My mother: teacher, middle school
    My brother: teacher, high school
Me: Substitute HS, Middle school teacher

And you have the gall and arrogance to say my experience are from 45 years ago and aren't relevant or wanted? What do you bring to the table other than nonsense.
