I'm pretty sure the Democrats in California said immigration was the federal government job and the state isn't suppose to get involved with immigration policies or upholding and defending the U.S. Constitution.

Not even close. Perot was a decent human being who ran on facts. The dude had a chart and solution to the problems those charts showed.
