Uh, did you actually read the summary?

The first title is about funding FDA testing of treatments for Corona. Are you telling me working people don't want/need those?
The second title is about 1 billion for small businesses to help with the pandemic. Are you telling me that welfare people also own small businesses??
The third title is about funding the CDC to avoid further spread and to develop vaccines and to ensure adequate medical supplies are available at points of treatment like hospitals. So, no working American wants that?
The fourth title is about a global response which in turn limits the spread of Corona within the US as well. No interest in that from anyone with a job?
The fifth title is just boiler plate legal stuff.

So again, did you read it? I think you didn't. A payroll tax cut isn't included, but what will that really do? I can't fund a vaccine with a payroll tax cut and neither can my employer. Money has to be spent on that at the appropriate place. And the stock market isn't going to rebound 6,000 points on a payroll tax cut. The problem isn't solved by doing that. More over, the stock market is falling for reasons other than Corona. So again, there is no fixing that and nor should the government try. That's not how America works.

No. Obama's real legacy is a failure to properly address the Spanish Flu and the Bubonic Plague.

Obama set up a pandemic response team, Trump fired them in 2018 to save money, now Trump says who could have ever seen something like this happening

Actually that funding was cut under Obama.. I could post the links showing this but you will ignore it and talk about slavery or bring out a 2012 link about Walmart

You're right! I stand corrected as I clicked on the wrong bill...dang.

But still, 124 pages with 26,287 words at the average adult reading speed of 300 words per minute means it only takes 87 minutes to read EVERY word in the bill. I copied and pasted into word. So like less than an hour and half? Seems like there's time. Plus, there was time for Mitch to know what was in it and rally against it, so clearly it can be read in time to vote.

Do you understand that most of the language refers to other bills or policies and those have to be gone over as part of context of said bill?

Yes, but you do understand that each member of the house has staff that will pull the related policies and bills and do the research for them, right? These people don't sit and read every word of these things, that's not how it works. They are the leaders of a small organization, they aren't aware of every word in the bill nor should they be. I promise you, this isn't the first time they've seen it or discussed it or knew it was coming. These bills aren't drafted the morning they are announced, many are sitting on the shelf waiting to be dusted off. Your claim that the GOP or other democrats have ZERO knowledge of what's in this bill isn't accurate based on their own responses to it. Nor is it accurate based on how the House operates.

OK, but he did set up a team in the White House to bring the issue closer to the office of the presidency. Because the CDC is a bit distant from the president organizationally, you realize, right?

The PPHF has been consistently used to fund efforts not related to public health.

In 2012, President Barack Obama signed a bill that cut the fund by more than $6 billion over nine years to pay for cuts to Medicare physician payments. A year later, the fund lost $450 million to set up the federal health insurance marketplace.

    Now what is 2012 + 9.....

Insurance companies have already said it would be covered without a copay. Medicare and Medicaid are already paying. Dems playing catchup since they have been wasting their time pointing fingers.
