Eh, you have no proof for that.
From my point of view, Putin needs military base in Tartus to have control over the region and another goal is not allow terrorists from Syria come to Russia. It is better to fight them outside of country, then inside. Maybe there are also some other reasons.

How do you know that Putin assassinate his political opponents? In fact, he did not have strong enough political opponents whom he would probably desired to kill to be the only one.

Crimea had been part of Russia since 1783. Under the auspices of the Soviet Union, Russian Premier Nikita Krushchev pushed through a measure which ceded governance of Crimea to Ukraine in 1954, but this has been contested numerous times since as being illegal.

According to the Soviet Constitution, the borders of a republic within the Soviet Union could not be re-drawn without the agreement of the republic in question. The transfer was approved by the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union; however, according to article 33 of the constitution, the Presidium did not have the authority to do so.

In 2014, the census of Crimea showed that 65.3% of the population were Ethnic Russian....

Vladimir Putin is not immune to the calumny which affected virtuous and noble people before him. It's a Cross he must bear.

Anyway most of Putin's greatness must be attributed to the US. I mean Russia was nothing before the sanctions, and look at Russia today. It's panicked the corrupt West so much, that they're committing one false flag attack after another without any concern towards the lives lost.

It's a propaganda ruse. He and others know that Vladimir Putin didn't assassinate anyone, but repeating the lie will demonize him. But demonize him for what?

We demonized Milosevic and bombed Belgrade for 78 days to break up Yugoslavia under a false pretense of genocide, when the only genocide was the ones committed by the Muslims and Croats with Nato support. They killed Milosevik before he could testify in court and prove his innocence. Now that enough years have passed so as not to affect the geo politics of Washington and its new world order, the Hague declared him innocent.

We demonized Saddam and killed him so we could break up Iraq and weaken it, and by doing so are culpable in the deaths of millions of people. We did the same to Libya the richest nation in Africa. So why are they demonizing Vladimir Putin? Do they plan to attack Russia, or are they planning to go to war with Russia in some third country like Syria?

By the way, 17 nations hacked into the Russian elections.

Putinka is dropping bombs everywhere vis, so this is his gig, but he's more concerned about his gaspipe, than the average Syrians plight;).
Why doesn't Putinka take Syrians? Isnt Assad &Putinka pals?
Why should US pay Germany, Merkel could use toilet scrubbers and street sweepers, those kind of jobs are beneath mist Germans.

Was? Is vis, yeah we're in astan, russkis were there 10 yrs, what was accomplished? Thousands moskalis dead, just as many ass raped. No reparations?

LOL, the bottom two are a joke...big time.

The monarchy could give a damn about the common russian folk, they were expendable.

You had maybe 200 that were close to the monarchy who lived in opulence, the other 100 mln lived in squalor, like scrawny alley cats.
Is it of no wonder the royals were thrown down a mine shaft, after being killed.;).

Yeah, vis, there already is terrorists in Russia, you have chechentzeh, kadyrovtsi, that Putinka pays blood money to "keep the peace", whatever that means in that part of the world, lol:)).

Yeah, maybe the other reason is to prevent a gaspipe going to Europe via the Stan's turkey, Syria/europe, if Assad is bumped off, and a more friendly"west" leaning puppet is president. This would be BAD news for Moskva/Gazprom and would completely bypass muscovshchyna, so they couldn't blackmail anyone who doesn't "vote" the way the kremlin wants. Gazprom could go bankrupt in a year or so;)).

:)), Castro really couldn't threaten the US with Soviet nukes.....that was Khrushchev job to launch them.
Castro was a "convenient idiot" for the Soviets at the time. Soviets saw cuba as a convenient location for a quick strike on the US east coast.
Cuba be damned as far as Soviets concerned.:).

Eh? To send gas with the pipeline via Syria to Europe? Maybe better via Africa? :-D This is nonsense. North stream will do the job.
Merkel supports it. And if she supports it US should shut up and get away.
Sure, Putin pays money to keep the peace in the territory of Russia, and US pays money to run the war in Europe and ME.

Why Putin has to take Syrians? You should take them. Your climate is better suited for them than cold Germany or Russia. And you have a very good economics as you always say, so you have to take them, pay them benefits, and give the houses instead of those that was destroyed by the US.

What about the thousands of houses destroyed by Russia and their puppet Assad? What about the thousands of Syrians killed by Russian supplied chemical weapons? Don't they count....or is that the US's fault as well?

Thousands of people killed by chemical weapons? Russia does not use chemical weapons. Do not confuse people. As for the rest, of course it is fault of the US as it started the mess there and not Russia.

Paying $$$ for war in Europe? You mean Ukraine? Veesko, it's ukranians fighting off moskalis, they need to protect from "non existent" strelkov/Girkin regular russian army;).

:)), Yeah of course Merkel will support the North Stream, at present time....if there were other viable projects that would lessen reliance on Gazprom, she would jump at the chance;).

Yeah , kremlin midget has to pay Kadyrovka big $$$, US currency, not rubles to keep a lid on hostilities:)), in Chechnya. So what peace. If Ramzie could stick a grenade under Putinka and get away with it...he would do so in a blink.;).

Don't know about the thousands killed by the Putin/Assad gang? Perhaps you should start gazing your eyes to something besides Pravda or 'Putin uber alles'!

The official mouthpiece of a government in charge never carries the weight of truth & honesty about it!

Pravda is not an official paper of a government. You are well behind the actual political life in Russia and do not be naive that your press is free and tells the truth to you. Your newspapers tell whatever they are told by CIA or White house.
Read the book "Bought Journalists" by German journalist from Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung Udo Ulfkotte who clearly stated that leading newspapers published material that had been fed to them, or bought, by the CIA and other Western intelligence and propaganda agencies.

Poor Udo....is this the same nut?
"After his departure from FAZ in 2003, Ulfkotte became known for his conspiracy theories, for instance claiming on his Kopp Verlag blog that Barack Obama ordered the burning of bibles, that African sportsmen would "slaughter whites" if allowed in to Germany, or that Muslims were waging "fecal jihad" against Europe..."
