They are not responsible for state and local emergency management, they do not run the local hospitals or frontline responders. Again have the Feds taken over the state of or the city of New York? New Orleans? Florida? Go read again.

In order to get both aid and medical material, Cuomo activated Guard engineer units of his state to construct and equip medical facilities. They draw their material from the federal medical reserves. They, Cuomo, deBlasio and others also asked the house and senate Dem leaders to push for military procurement regime. That’s what the last one was about. Dah....you doubt what is right in front of you ? It’s in the interviews .

You should understand that the DoD is a really little more than a conduit from the American taxpayer to the Big Defense Contractors. Most of them are every bit as State run as the old Mikoyan-Guernich Design Bureau in the former Soviet Union was.

They al, have Guard units with medical supplies officers that are trained and funded by the feds. They all have federal buildings with instant access to federal and use and consent authority. Gerrymandering has been around for something like two centuries. Certainly not something that began with the GOP.

Some type of gerrymandering is pretty much required as the courts have ruled that you have to have some "super minority" districts in order to ensure that a number of minority members of Congress are elected.

And some things are beyond the management capabilities and responsibilities like the federal government running all the local hospitals and emergency management which they do not do. They ASSIST them with their responses. Tell me where has the federal government issued stay at home and restricted business activities, what state, what city? What is some state or city was sitting there waiting? And stop with the canard about the County Council dealing with the FEDERAL RESPONSIBILITIES.
Still waiting for one of you who claim the federal government is in total charge of all medical response and management to show me how Trump is running that in New York state and New York city.

The problem is that Trump isn't even ASSISTING the local hospitals, at least not until recently, Even then it's appearing that a lot of what he's doing is just lying about it and trying to say the hospitals are falsifying their needs and even stealing the supplies they have. It's ****** outrageous, and how the Trumpers can justify such downright cruel and even bizarre behavior when thousands are dying in agony is truly beyond my understanding.

Jeebus, we have States actually bidding AGAINST each other for desperately needed supplies, thus driving the prices up and ensuring that nobody will get enough. This is exactly what the Feds are supposed to prevent. My understanding is that Trump is trying to do this now, but why did it take him so long?
