I've been pointing the need for such Russian retaliation as part of a proper action simply by criticizing Russia's "passive" stance against American diplomatic aggressiveness.
Now here's the thought, Putin's stance has been little bit leaned towards west, up for not going hard against American measures. But there's this one cool clique in Kremlin that resists Putin's "passiveness"...

Those guys are our hope, not Putin surrounded by Atlanticist aids going by their demands, making Russia look like fool...

    Like the song goes:

    Millions, millions in the ceiling...

Ilon Musk is a banal rogue. 85% of SpaceX funding - NASA's money. Other words - the money of American taxpayers. This is an impudent realizable scheme "Nationalization of losses and privatization of profits." Of course, you can pretend to be a steep pioneer of the cosmos, if all your Desires and miscalculations are generously paid by the state.

"However, SpaceX receives the majority of its funding from NASA, and according to one internal NASA document, as much as 85 percent of the company’s revenues to date have come from the space agency through its multibillion dollar commercial crew and cargo contracts. Put simply, if not for NASA, SpaceX would probably be flying the Falcon 1 or 5 rocket today or might not exist at all"
    https://arstechnica.com/science/201...-hope-it-reaches-mars-but-we-spacex-to-focus/

His method of weaning money from the population is called the "pyramid of projects". This is when, By blowing into the wind the money of investors (in the case of the company Mask SpaceX - American taxpayers) and failing or not completing one project, there and then comes up with a new, even more grandiose and stunning. Under which, of course, are starting to gather even more grandiose and stunning money.
In Russia there was a similar character and his company "MMM".
Ilon Mask told the idiots how he intends to save them by moving to Mars and having built a whole fleet of giant rockets for this. True, he himself is afraid to go to nowhere. The idiots caught hold of breath with every word Mask. :roflol::roflol::roflol:

But it turned out that for a full-fledged development of Mars, an ambitious entrepreneur will need only a thousand spacecraft capable of transporting about a hundred people. (Recalls the famous interplanetary chess tournament in the village of Vasyuki.)

In general, in this crap can only believe an idiot.

I say we need to be vigilant for the balancers in this forum. They are like sneaky bastards holding down the potential of ever growing Russian anger against America and its stupid puppets by simply appearing as pro-Russian but actually not standing up for the real Russian values which are mostly made up of Russian nationality.

Check those posters out who appear to be pro-Russian, you'll see them standing up only for the guy in the lead role, who is actually being nothing but "neutral" when it comes to expected patriotic moves from Russia and entirely passive on stuff that may have given Russia the opportunity of having great psychological advantage against its rival if it could have acted properly on time.

Just givin you a heads-up buddy.

What we have done to Russia's economy and their people has been pretty big, anyone surprised they are reacting to us is silly.

From 2014 to now the Average Per Capita Income in Russia for each citizen dropped some 40% ish from $825 - $500 US$ and it still precipitously dropping. With the new sanctions comming in this could get really ugly

I don't know if you ever read the Vineyard of the Saker, but he's a Russian with past experience in intelligence, (he left them), and he said the Russians do not make threats. They see it as a weakness. Another thing the Russians do is pull back in battle, giving the illusion that they're retreating. This method was used by the militia in the Donbas, as well as trapping them in cauldrons. This is why they were able to defeat the Ukrainian army each and every time.

Putin wants to have good relations with the US because he knows what the alternative is. Naturally the fools in congress, who are blinded by their own arrogance, perceived Putin's quest for good relations as a weakness.

I fear the consequences, because there will be retaliation to the sanctions, which are meant to hurt the Russian economy. More than likely the response will be on the American dollar, and the consequences could be severe. I hope not!

The Russians I have met and talked to a bit live in America. I never got a hint of aggression.

For some odd reason, the media here and some of our politicians want to work hard to make enemies of Putin who leads the Russians. We might like their public, but Putin leads them. So to trash him ends up trashing the very nice Russians.

Same would be the case were they trashing us. But notice on the world stage, Putin still is not trashing the USA. That to me sounds like a reasonable person. Trump has tried not to also but the Democrats then trash him for not trashing Putin. This is no secret. The media does it all the time too.

Its sad that so many brainwashed drones in America are willing to go to war with Russia to push a lame excuse of why Hillary suddenly lost an election Hillary her self said was clean and pure... And we better except the results of. All just to score a few lame political points.

"Informed" is a relative term. Seeing what is going on, and knowing how to conclude for yourself what is taking place is key. I think this whole Russia story is b's. Up until the French terror attacks, when Russia started bombing Obama moderate terrorist civilian military, did the collective suddenly turn on Russia.

Draco put on your thinking cap.

When nations have financial problems the first thing they do is drop the value of their currency so that money will come in, and no money will be leaving the country.. This is especially beneficial to Russia since it is an exporting nation, not an importing one... so money rarely leaves except for luxury items. When oil prices fell, the value of the Ruble dropped down with it. This meant that more money was coming into Russia from the sales of its natural resources as well as arms and technical equipment because Russian prices had become more competitive.

In the mean time the lower wages meant the products consumers were buying cost much less... since they weren't being imported. So the people didn't suffer. Russia was able to balance the budget each and every year even with the major increases in the military. The countries that suffered were the ones in the EU. Merkel with her Western arrogance, believed the Russians would want to continue a relationship with them and give in. Instead Putin boycotted the EU products and began building up his own agriculture and meat and poultry industry. It's a market the EU will never regain.

Would be great! I have just seen to many articles claiming the recession to be over to believe them.

If they can break +1% GDP growth this year I would see it as a huge success, especially if the US puts new sanctions on the country.

For instance though, the statement itself states they are looking for the 1.3% growth through first and foremost higher oil prices.

I simply don't see oil prices going higher in any drastic way

Russia's problem has been the high interest rates imposed by the head of the Russian bank. The intent was to keep inflation down, but it also kept Russians from taking out loans and growing their industries as fast as they would have liked. From what I had read in previous years, most of the talk shows were blaming the head of the bank. Most Russians consider her a fifth column.

I don't think Putin wanted to break off completely with the West, and was hoping there would be a change in our policy with Trump, but there wasn't.... thanks to the fools in Congress. Who knows what is going to happen now that the Kremlin is fed up. Putin might be waiting to see what the EU will do ... and let's not forget there is China.

Much of what has been going on in the Balkans especially is meant to hurt China's trade initiatives... at the expense of the countries that desperately need the income from the new trade routes. All of them would have gained from China's initiatives as well as from the gas pipes coming from Turkey into Greece.

    More than1,000.

Nearly all of them are spies, and yes it will have at least a minor negative impact on intelligence gathering.

The Americans are not there for intelligence gathering, they are regime change freaks. In other words they bribe officials, spread rumors and propaganda, pay people to protest the way they did in Ukraine, etc. The intent is to destroy the Russian Federation and split up so they could take Russia's wealth. Russia has 30% of all the natural resources in the world, and there is no way the globalists can control the world without it.

The American ambassador was known for creating trouble in the nations he entered, and it was surprising to many that Vladimir Putin accepted him. Maybe Putin felt better having him in Russia where the Kremlin can keep an eye on him, than in a neighboring country where they can't.

I think Russia was preparing itself for this scenario for quite a while, and had to make sure the American embassy didn't become suspicious and start emptying out the computers and ridding itself of incriminating evidence. Good for Russia.

Are you serious? Because the quote you made this comment under is mere BS. Even a macro Econ 101 freshman knows that high interest rates boost "populist stable investments" depending on the size of the banking industry and of the open market in general. Given the fact that Russian stock market is a new born baby just started crawling for only 2 decades, it's understandable why Russian people are still trying to understand how this "open and exchange markets" systems work. That's why they are not "risk-takers" like Americans or British. What does that mean? That means they LOVE to invest their money into "easy cash earnings" deals, meaning that they want to open deposit accounts in trustworthy banks and enjoy nice interest rates on their money without taking any risk.

The central bank of Russia, despite its "supposed" autonomy, """CANNOT""" act independently from the guy ruling the country who's worth more than $200 billion. So this means, Putin doesn't care about production growth. Instead, as any POPULIST leader would do, he sees what people invest their money in and keep the rates at the according levels. This way the Russian Nation can't wake up from their sweetest dreams and start question equations like "TILLERSON-PUTIN-ARCTIC" to reach to a conclusion that Putin actually looks out for western interests much more than he looks out for the future of the Russian youth... !!!!

    I'm not making up no stuff here Rob, it's the ""official"" MOEX (Moscow Exchange) data (AS OF JUNE 2017) that says so;

Turnover increased on the Bond Market (+26.9% YoY), Money Market (+20.9% YoY), Equity Market (+12.5% YoY) and FX Market (+10.7% YoY).
    Let me tell you:
Equity Bond Market is the less risky instrument ever as Government and treasury back the papers they issue and guarantee "return" on investment. That volume is YUUUUGE... I didn't look up data for general deposits in the banks but I can tell that those deposit pockets of the banks must be real deep for damn sure... Why Russian citizens go for ""less-risky""? Simple: They DO NOT TRUST this UNPRODUCTIVE "WESTERN" system !

    Equity and Bond Market:

Total trading volumes on the Equity and Bond Market grew by 21.1% to RUB 2,385.9 bln

    FX Market:

FX Market turnover was RUB 30.9 trln. (This is another indicator that people like to invest for and against RUBLE a lot, meaning that they enjoy RUBLE's """volatility""")

    Money market:

Turnover MOEX increased by 20.9% YoY to RUB 31.5 trln.
The volume of repo transactions with the CCP was RUB 21.1 trln

    Commodities Market:

Total turnover in precious metals reached RUB 8.1 bln
The total trading volume of agricultural products (grain and sugar) was RUB 542.3 mln in May.

    -----------------

By the way, don't be fooled by the illusion of "export" data as Russian exports are piled up bigly only on one sector: ENERGY.

Other than energy and arms almost all sectors are IMPORT driven !

Russia has a very big potential to be the LOKOMOTIV of the whole world but some motherfeckers want Russia tied to the ATLANTIC because that's where their dog food is coming from !

Russia must get rid of those types of leeches because they are clearly not FOR Russia !

    No good !

    HEADS UP #3:

Imagine you're the boss of an Ambassador to another country who gets whacked right before the eyes of millions of people.

Wouldn't you be the one that should be held accountable for that as you are having the "SOLE RESPONSIBILITY" over your employee's actions that also put him underground forever? What about the other vital importance employees lost their lives leaving their little children and beloved ones behind while serving their country in completely different parts of the world???

In a modern civilized world yes, the boss gets jail time but not in today's Kremlin that's being sucked by the Atlanticist asses... I mean what kind of a boss can be this reckless to risk his employees' lives???? Putin kind of maybe???? Yeeeeesssssss.... Flippin energy resources of the future of the Russian children, makin those greens rainin down upon his own head only but selling out his own team to the American VAMPIRES... !

Face it B.I.T.C.H(Betsy International TransChattahoochee Highway) !

Today's Kremlin is concerned more about blaming America for their own mistakes. They are the only one single group of people in the world that "DON'T KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THE WHEEL OF A GLOBAL POWER LIKE RUSSIA" !

How can I say that? Because I know as a fact that these leeches don't pay no attention to what the GEOPOLITICAL REALITIES have been trying to tell Mother Russia to do, because they don't give a "FCK" (Fat Chunk Karla)'s ass to Russian IDEALISM that will be the only survival for the future of the RUSSIAN YOUTH whom are our children as well because we got some pretty crowded Russian population in Turkiye.

    Bigly bad...
