Did Trump hand over his hotel documents when he was subpoenaed? Let's let the process play out and see if the subpoena is valid.

If the courts agrees with the committee, then the identities should be revealed. Until then, the committee will have to find other means to link the Biden family to corruption.

Is Hunter having prints of his works reproduced /framed in China?
    Ivanka has the trademark connections.

He needs to sell them on QVC, Melania could hook him up, eh? lol

Nah, the publishing company Obama gave a huge contract to who then went on to give him and his wife $28 million dollar book deals will make the prints, Biden’s brother will hawk them and CNN will have a constant ad on the corner of their screen where they can be bought.

You mean the next Sea Basquait?
The guy is trading on his name and buying art from him is just a tiny bit more classy than a brown paper bag.

THAT is complete bullshit, and it is one of the reasons we are circling the drain right now. The Chinese Communist Party (amongst others, most notably Russia but only because they have nukes) is our enemy, not the other party. Tit for tat is like a gang war. Well, one of your guys (maybe) shot Tony, so you guys shot Paulie, then we shot Tony Jr, then you whacked the other Paulie, and so on. It is not good for the country.

From time to time, it may be good for your 'tribe', but this isn't the 5th Century BC anymore, and save a few small enclaves of folks on islands or deep in jungles nobody visits, we don't live in tribes anymore. At least we shouldn't, and were a good ways towards accomplishing that laudable goal until it became 'cool' to hate someone on another 'tribe', in this case political parties, but it could be race, gender, sexual proclivities, all sorts of things.

"Duty, Honor, Country." In that order. Parties come in a distant 127th. Sorry for stealing your quote GEN MacArthur, but it applies perfectly here.

Not only that, but under a subpoena, if my basic legal knowledge serves me correctly, the only way you can refuse to answer a question is protection against self-incrimination (but it must be disclosed as such), or if it's covered by privilege. Unless the art dealer sidelines as a doctor and/or lawyer, or is married to a Biden, privilege does not apply here, and even if he is a doctor or lawyer, only certain information is covered, and he would have to establish that it's actual work product related to doctoring or lawyering. I'll ignore the 'married to' one, because if that were the case, we'd know it by now.

That might at least explain how he was paying dear old dad (emphasis on OLD) $50k/month to rent his home! One thing I'd like to see an impartial, expert opinion on is if that reflected an actual market rate, or if it was good old fashioned money laundering in plain sight.

And before anyone infected with TDS says anything, he's too old for the job, too. We can't say with any degree of certainty that he'll live long enough to campaign, much less actually serve out another term, and it's time for some young blood. I'm thinking the Governor of my State is the right guy for the job and going based on the hit pieces on him that have already started, so does the left. And they fear him, because he will win the general if he wins the primary. Guaranteed. And they know it.

He also has less than nothing to do with the topic being discussed here. Plus, I don't even want him to run, much less win. Better than the alternative, but that's not a compliment. So is my dog.

I don't know who that is, nor do I care. With the exception of a very few bona fide masterpieces (think Mona Lisa), I find the art world to be a bunch of pretentious rich people with more money than sense, putting something on their wall they could take a picture of with just their phone (or find a high resolution version online), print it on the same type of paper, and boom, for $100, I've got the Mona Lisa (or whatever) on my wall that it would take a bona fide forensic expert to determine it isn't the original. Well, with that painting, it would be completely obvious because the real one is in the Louve, I believe.

Or is it? They could put up a fake, it would have to be much better than what I'm talking about, naturally, but still the general public wouldn't know they were looking at a copy while the real one is on the wall at my house... #crimeofthecentury

I also don't understand how it's possible that Australian politics are so perfect that so many Aussies are bored and have to stick their noses in our business, rather than tending to their own interests. I couldn't tell you who the President (or Prime Minister, King, or whatever HDIC* you guys have) is, what his or her policies are, nor do I really care.

*HDIC=Head dude (or dudette) in charge.

I think there is about as much chance of that Arizona property having an ocean frontage as you understanding why people pay what they do for art pieces.

Maybe stop using your own limited understanding as some sort of reference point for reality, especially in areas you clearly don't have the first idea about. I'll bet I know more about buying & selling art than you and I wouldn't assume I know why people do & don't buy particular pieces for particular prices.

You can believe that his paintings are legitimately worth up to half a million dollars but I know better

Okay like totally, I'm sure you're this great international art critic....

Anyone that actually thinks his chicken scratch is worth a half a million dollars a piece, has no room to attempt to get on his little soapbox and be little others.

I have actually posted pictures of my original art here over the years.

I love how the left is sitting here attempting to pretend that it's remotely possible that any of that "artwork" is worth remotely a half a million dollars a piece.

I bet Hunter Biden couldn't draw a perfect circle. But in fairness it is difficult for anyone to draw a perfect circle. It might look like it is to the eye but if you get out a measuring device.

No, just someone with a mind open to a range of possibilities - such as someone with more money than I will ever have paying more than I would for an art work for reasons that wouldn't motivate me.

Even the person selling it didn't expect anything to go for over $100,000. Do we have any evidence any did? You don't need the names of purchasers to find that out.

The only person on a soapbox here is you insisting you know how much & why people should pay for a particular piece of art. As you should know, an object is 'worth' what someone will pay. What you or anyone else but the purchaser thinks is irrelevant.

OK, so this is the classic conservative combination of political prejudice & personal bitterness. Different day, same stuff.

They'll just subpoena his ass and if he still doesn't cooperate, he can cool his heels in jail til he does.
