Nothing that a good old born again baptismal cleansing wouldn't cure, and perhaps a couple of good old whack on the backside with a wooden paddle.

Have you ever experienced deja vu?

Look into what entanglement is. It will offer you a bit more information on how information can transcend time by the energy shared between points in time.

Kind of like gravity, in which the potential exists, before during and after you even knew yourself.

So a coherent mind could tap into energy precognizant to the account, just like your consciousness did when you created this thread.

Oh come on Jonah. Being a westener doesn't exclude you from having some grasp of the way things work. There's terrible governments everywhere. Look at Iran. Look at Iraq. Look at Israel. Look at North Korea. Look at China. Look at Russia. Cambodia. Pakistan. Saudi Arabia. Tyranny exists everywhere in one form or another, that's governments for you.

Just because America say supports someone like Suharto (who is estimated to be responsible for around half a million deaths) doesn't mean it is the root cause of the man's cruelty and ruthlessness. It just shows, as should be obvious, that any kind of humanitarian talk with regards to American policy is just rhetoric.

Hmm - I'm a German - and indeed I'm expecting from Germans a better behavior and a better style in discussions - but you are right: that's an illusion. I remember in the moment for example a male German who infected once about 50 female prostitutes in Thailand intentionally with HIV: Everything depends always on individual decisions. Neverthelless it's a good feeling only to be a travelling stranger in the english speaking world.

Ever read Nietzsche's "What Germans Lack?"

I enjoyed that piece immensely, not least because it transcends to all education and intellectual standards. Nietzsche was a hard man to impress!

No - I did not read Nietzsche. I always had the feeling Nietzschsheans are empty masks without the ability to be happy. A prejudice maybe because the [¿misunderstood?] Nietzsche was the main philosopher of the "god-is-dead"="god-is-death" Nazis. But perhaps Nietsche was only a poor guy.

What's the reason you ask about Nietzsche now?

Just because you were talking about German society and German people. The piece is actually one of the final works he did before his madness took over "Twilight of the Idols" along with "The Anti-Christ". Naturally I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate The Anti-Christ, but Twilight of the Idols is a good read and there is only a little criticism with regards to organised religion. He gives his usual implacable but pertinent commentary on the educational system which truly resonates with me. Esp. this: And everywhere an indecent haste prevails, as if something would be lost if the young man of twenty-three were not yet "finished," or if he did not yet know the answer to the "main question": which calling? A higher kind of human being, if I may say so, does not like "callings," precisely because he knows himself to be called. He has time, he takes time, he does not even think of "finishing": at thirty one is, in the sense of high culture, a beginner, a child.

The Anti-Christ - seen as an entity what is able to undo what Jesus Christ had done - is not existing. I don't believe in any form of Anti-God.

I would not be able to be a warrior of the light without darkness. But the darkness is full of light.

Twilight of what? Ah: "Götzendämmerung" - an interesting title. Remembers to the "Götterdämmerung" (twilight of the gods) of Wagner. Lot of insane pathos in such themes.

    ¿?

I guess he had some problems in school.
