I really don't see how anyone can predict bidens health, he could be fine. Having been VP he would be fairly acquainted with the job.

Why doesn't Joe Biden get a large open venue so all his supporters can safely distance yet back their guy in person? It's ridiculous to think that following the very rules libs WANT us to follow can not be applied to the Groper. So why aren't they? Where's the support for Sniffer?

Whoever wins will be the choice of the American people, and I will abide by it. There is a scripture that says all things work together for the good of those who believe and love God. My feelings are along those lines. I think the sentiment is a natural state of fair minded people worldwide, whether it is attributable to God or simply the faith that things will work out and that one should set ones feet on the path of patience, and ones arms to good works, to love, to family, to all good things. There is much needing tending in life. Good luck to all.

It would be great if the republicans would treat Biden with the same open mindedness and unity that the democrats treated Trump. That's what you deserve.

 

No. Just like the nation in our modern political era of polarization, mega, ultra, high partisanship, no way. Unless all these negative personal attacks are toned down, unless folks stop thinking the other party is out to destroy America, as long as the partisan believe every negative thing said about the other party and its candidates, like they're the devil reincarnated, the worst scum on the earth, nothing will change.

Change has to start at the top with each party leaders changing their message of hate for the other party. which I don't think has a snowballs chance in Hades of happening.

In terms of the prospect for coming together...............please consider the Orange Menace is still popular with about 90% of what was the GOP. That implies the views of most Repubs do not reflect reality. How do you reach common ground with a group of people who are not grounded in the truth? You don't.

 

"Healing" doesn't mean that Democrats should govern like Republicans. And Republicans who understand that we are on the same boat, in which we either stay afloat or sink will have to understand that. I'm also aware that not everybody will come together. Demagogues and Ideologues will stick to their guns. But I think a majority will.

Problem is, you don't understand faith. People of faith see a Biden win as a "deserved scourge upon the land". God disciplines his children because He loves them. I don't think we'll see that scourge however, but it is up to the will of God.

 

I'm not talking about the whole country coming together the next day. It's just starting the process. I think Biden will form a government that brings to it Republicans that can help in the process. As I said above to another poster, this doesn't mean that Biden should govern like Democrats. Or that he should make the same mistake that Obama made: give in to delay tactics hoping they will join.

It is possible it will take a generation. But this could be a start.

As far as this forum. I'm just saying that empty gloating would serve no purpose.

 

Republicans gambled everything on killing democracy so they could have White power permanently.

If they lose this election, the demographics are such that it won't happen in the future.

So.

If they lose, the party will eventually die. If they win, they finish ruining the country.

This encourages me to brashly suggest the rest of us are free-thinking conservatives unwilling to commit to a pack of spineless drooling cowards. Until Trump. Possibly the most distinct difference between the two supportive groups is that the GOP plays nice but harmless, go-along-get-along. We demand results.
