I'm not a religious person, and I'd condemn anyone who took an innocent life. But there is at least one problem with your premise: I don't think Jesus ever advocated burning anyone alive.

If, on the other hand, Trump said: "If you don't vote for me, your immortal soul will burn in a lake of fire, after you die.", I'd find it amusing, not very surprising, and enjoy watching the all the heads explode.

Don't give the zombie a pass for not, in over 2000 years and counting, piping up and saying "whoa, whoa, I'm not so immoral that I'd torture alive those that simply don't believe in me - obviously the Bible is full of crap!" I'd have said that w/in the last 2000 years if I was in Jesus shoes - but that's because Modern Secular Humanism is far more caring than Jesus is.

So then if the Infancy Gospel of Thomas is true, that Jesus killed multiple people as a young person, you'd condemn Jesus for that, like I do?

 

We know that the founder of Mormonism, J. Smith Jr., was. Yet Mormons can't seem to summon the moral courage to condemn him for that. Muslims seem to have the same problem with Mohammad's crimes, as well.
