It has the same court-room level of proof as the bible (i.e. none), so it's just as credible as the Bible. Just because it's PROBLEMATIC, and doesn't HELP Christians in their belief that they'll magically survive their own deaths doesn't mean it's not true, however. Yes, it would be TOUGH to put the fear into people's hearts if the Bible said that the "all-loving/perfect" Jesus killed multiple innocent people as a young person.

I can't recall Jesus saying the Earth is ~6000 (~4000 at the time) years old. Perhaps you can prove me wrong?

If my "followers", in the book about me, thought the earth was 6000 years old, I'd care enough about them to come down w/in the last 2000 years and tell them that the Bible got it wrong, so they don't look so incredibly stupid.....would you do that, Canell? In other words, do you love Christians as much as I do to have come down in the last 2000 years and told them that the Bible is wrong about the geneologies?
