If women are capable of serving in combat roles, then why aren't they part of the draft?

I'll play along with your hypothetical situation. Depends on the rules. For example, regarding NCAA sports, a male can't just claim to be female in order to participate in women's sports. They have to show one calendar year of testosterone suppression treatment in order to compete.
So point being, I can't answer your question regarding the draft as I am not familiar with any current day draft rules. Hopefully there would be something similar as what the NCAA has so as to prevent guys from pretending to be a female.

It is a factor as for the Selective service. Your post has been addressed and your ridiculous position has been refuted.

You and I aren't making rules; just discussing them. For me the issue is equality. While putting men against women in certain sports does not resemble equality due to unequal strength, other sports put both on an equal playing field, like auto racing and marksmanship. That means that they can operate most weapons at levels equal to bio males.

Thanks for the link and I am sorry my question upset you. It was not a position, but a question. My position is that genitalia should never be a factor on this issue.

I find it very interesting - and very telling - that you failed to mention that your own country essentially operates under the same set of rules... [IMG]

It isn't a factor. It is which box was checked on your birth certificate. This issue doesn't upset me. Density does.

All you did was re clarify the topic. We already knew that. Do you have anything to contribute to the discussion?

You think per the law, one can just make a claim and the law just says, Oh, OK.
    I doubt it.

Do you think as many on the right seem to think, one can just wake up one morning and say as a male, I think I will be female today so I can shower with the girls?

It certainly is, in 99 % or more of the cases.
Are you no longer the gender you were born with?
Do you actually know anyone not the gender today, that they were born with?

The question is why they are not part of the registration.

Why aren't they eligible for conscription in Australia?

Sure. It CAN be. And according to your LUDICROUS definition of 'trolling', MANY questions could be trolling!

"Begging the question" is a very basic form of trolling.

    Do you still abuse puppies?

    See how that works?

you are probably right, chris. if trump had showed up to lead my platoon in viet nam , and if he had survived the fragging he could not have avoided changing for the better.

we would still, of course, have lost the war.

How the hell am I "begging" the question?

Except that's a TERRIBLE example, as that question assumes that I have previously abused puppies! How does my question make any assumptions? Can you do any better?

SCALE of war is much more significant to how many troops are required, than LENGTH of war.

So 70 year olds who dodge the Vietnam draft? You would force them into compulsory training? It would basically be mass murder by the State! :roflol:

"mass murder by the state" is a fairly concise definition of "war." conscription of septuagenarians would serve little useful purpose, except perhaps a gentle reminder to the young that they do, at some point in their lives, owe some service to the nation.
