You really need to stop your "all-or-nothing" thinking, my friend. Wow. No one said it gets rid of all Muslims, nor prevents them from following the Qur'an. So I guess if it doesn't solve ALL the problems then better not even attempt it, eh?

How specifically have the policies of the Obama Administration not worked? And by the way, the vetting policies by Obama have worked pretty darn well, considering we went over there to invent a war that has killed over 200,000 Muslims. Statistically, a Muslim ban makes no sense.

Again, wow, all-or-nothing thinking. No, every Muslim is NOT a murderer - but every Muslim is full of hatred - unless of course they will condemn, say, Qur'an 9:29, which is full of hatred towards non-believers - relegating us to second class legal status no less. Forcing us to pay a discriminatory tax, just for not being a Muslim ("jizya".) Clearly hatred. So yes, all Muslims are full of hatred - unless of course they condemn Q9:29.

30,200+ terror attacks by Muslims since 9/11 and growing....clearly the leader of the free world failed to stem the greatest threat to democracy since WWII.

Let me take that a bit further. The present lets them in and makes excuses when something happens.

So Muslims are going to continue to follow the Quran in America and Trump's ban is a "solution" to nothing. Thank you for agreeing. Now we can have this thread deleted because you are it's pointless.

BTW, did you or did you not type the following?

"It will prevent them from following the Quran (waging Jihad) in America"

Then look at it as someday the world along with all its inhabitants will end, and leave it at that. We believe differently. ::shrugs::
No I haven't read any Islamic texts in depth.
I'm mainly concerned with any belief that says to kill others, or forcibly convert others. Extreme progressive thinking is even like this.

After we laid waste to the country and killed half a million Iraqis.

We created the Taliban, bin Laden and al Qaeda. ISIS happened when we chopped the heads off of the leadership of al Qaeda. Iran is a direct result of US intervention. US support for and protection of brutal dictators around the world has created insurgent groups that use terrorism in the face of overwhelming military force.

Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result?

The faux attempts at enlightened thinking and moral superiority on the left seems to only impress other leftists. Muslim terrorists seem to exploit this, evidenced by the fact that almost all of their attacks happen in very progressive areas.

Often, they are one fiery sermon by a radicalized imam away from becoming one. The problem comes from the acceptance that Muslims must have that Muhammad was the perfect representative of the Islamic faith and role model for humanity, and is sinless in the eyes of God. Once that foundation is established, it doesn't take much.

And your complete lack of being a Humanist shines through again. No Humanist in the world would claim every Muslim is full of hate.

I don't know any Muslim in America who believes should have to pay the jizya. Clearly they aren't mindless robots like you think they are. (A real Humanist would understand individuality but your your hatred blinds you to that)

    - - - Updated - - -

And every single Muslim believes that as literally as you claim they do?

But every Muslims does believe that a mass-murderer is the #1 role model for all time! That's still quite bad. Here's a list of their #1 role model's murders or approval of murderers: https://wikiislam.net/wiki/Qur'an,_Hadith_and_Scholars:Muhammad_and_Mass_Murder

Can you condemn Muslims for having their #1 role model of all time be a murderer? Can you, Q? Would seem reasonable.
Also, ask your Muslim buddy that you tout on this forum so much, "do you condemn Mohammad for murdering critics of his, such as Asma B. Marwan, and Abu Afak?"
Then please tell us his answer, Q.

    Thanks.

Thanks, you just answered your own question, and you don't even know it. If the ban "does not get rid of all Muslims", or prevents them from following the Quran, then what is the point of the ban? By the way, Trump said this has nothing to do with Religion, while you clearly are talking about Religion? So which is it? When are you two going to get your stories straight?

Right, even though Muslims have had this happening in their lands since the 7th century, it's all the fault of those white Christian devils for provoking them with our foreign policy. How nice for you that you're able to eliminate 90% of history in order to make your anti-Western argument.

Not every single one HAS to for Islam to be a danger to the world. Again, stop with the all-or-nothing thinking, my friend. Sam Harris says that (only) 15-20% of Muslims are pro-Jihad. That's hundreds of millions of warriors in this upcoming world war. Not good.

And every Muslim defines "role model" the same way you do? They use the same literal meaning of that term you do?

It will prevent THOSE potential immigrants from following the Qur'an (i.e. killing) in AMERICA, yes. But not all Muslims in America, of course.

Just to be clear: if Trump started putting all Muslims in America into death camps, would you oppose him and stand with American Muslims?

You are right, in that they will just kill in the nation they are in right now, sadly. But it sends a strong message to Mohammad's followers - we won't stand for Jihad/Sharia, we are taking a brave stand against Mohammad.

    - - - Updated - - -

Yes, they are (except for the ones who will renounce Mohammad's hatred, of course) all full of hatred.

Today I don't support camps, no.

Yes, they've had "white Christian devils" invading their homes, slaughtering their people, and stripping their resources.

THAT is the history of the Middle East.

So please tell us who, specifically, many Muslims hold up HIGHER than Mohammad. You can't do it of course, so you just lost this argument.

They hold a pedo as their #1 role model. It would be like if a Catholic said "you know, that priest that was just convicted of pedophilia, yep, he's my #1 role model of all time!" See how that works?

    1. Exactly what message does it send to the millions of American Muslims?

    2. And there you go again with your all or nothing CLAIMS and your total rejection of humanism.

    3. State is clearly. Say "I will stand with American Muslims if Trump or anyone else tried to put them in death camps."

Obama is not, nor should be, in charge of the rest of the world. This is why you are on the wrong side of this argument. Our illegal involvement in Iraq because of Bush, is a result of many of those terrorist attacks you refer to. If I had had a family member killed by the U.S in Iraq, you can bet, I would have been one of the first to seek revenge against this illegal war that was based on lies that killed one of my family members. We are going in the opposite direction when we show up in these countries taking their oil as Trump has suggested.

    Every Muslim holds Allah higher.

Was my grandfather a pedophile for marrying my grandmother when the age at which they married was totally legal at the time and no one in their society thought anything of it?

A real Modern Secular Humanist would recognize that different societies throughout history have had different moral standards (including the age at which a female is considered to be of marriageable age).

Yes, Jesus is obviously not real, or not loving, or of course he'd have come down during the barbaric Crusades and said to those madmen slaughtering in his very name "whoa, stop the slaughter!". I of course would have, and I'm sure that you dadoalex are moral enough to have done that (if you had that ability of course), so obviously Jesus is not real - or he's not moral enough to be considered a good role model.

Jesus would also have done that during slavery, too - Christians justified slavery with the Bible (the book about Jesus), and Jesus never condemned slavery, so clearly Jesus is either not real or not a moral person. I'd of course have done that, in a heart-beat, because unlike Jesus I couldn't stand to see people enslave other people in my name.

So if you were a god you would destroy free will?
