Yes, it triggers those who are in denial about the reality of Jan 6. The people in Tennessee were no more attempting insurrection than the people of Jan 6. They were petitioning their government for change, just like the people of Jan 6. The differences were that the Tennessee crowd WERE very aggressive and pushy with the police officers, while the Jan 6 were not. Also, Jan 6 crowd was being egged on by government assets like Ray Epps and various police officers. It is no longer surprising to see such rank hypocrisy demonstrated here by posters. What was described as "worse than 911" regarding Jan 6 is just a walk in the park for the Tennessee trans people.

Trespassing on public property is legally problematic to successfully prosecute if the person is there during normal hours for a purpose associated with the use of the property. In this case, wanting your legislature to hear your position on a public policy matter by being in a common area during normal hours would be a hard thing to pull off as a charge. I know a guy who got banned from the utilities payment building by someone for cursing at her and then arrested for trespassing when he went back. Granted I don't live in TN, but the judge said they can't ban him from a public building he has legitimate business with when he is there to conduct legitimate business. Said they could prosecute him if he curses at people for cursing in public, but that is it.
