I'm hearing both could happen. A special election needs to be called, but these 2 guys could be sent back as "temporary" representatives until they win again. Most special elections are due to the elected person dying, and that's not the case here.. Interesting political options coming here... At the end of the day, likely all that will be accomplished here is the cost of 2 special elections to achieve what they already had yesterday. That's brilliant use of state resources...
