Iran rejects Israeli claim it was behind tanker attack off Oman

I’ve googled “Israeli aggression” and got about 600,000 returns. Then I’ve googled “Iran peacekeeping” and got 390 returns.

So then it must be true that Israel is an aggressor, and Iran is a peacekeeper.

 

Sure it does but, How does Eastern Orthodox conflict with the beliefs of this church .. such that they are heretics ? what do they add to the NT that offends the sensibilities of your Church ?

 

What does Iran peacekeeping have to do with recent Iraeli aggression ? Israel attacked an Iranian ship - Iran attacked an Isreali ship.

What about it .. are you saying Eastern Orthodox believes in Original Sin doctrine ... or your denomination ? and why is this doctrine heretical .. - adding something to the NT ? or lack of believe in this doctrine heretical ?

Could it have been pirates? There are pirates in that area and we haven't heard from them recently, though why they should fire on a tanker is beyond my understanding.. They can't sell it can they?

 

Pirates have hijacked oil tankers several times in that area between Oman and Somalia so might have been them

 

One forgets that the States at the South of the Arabian peninsula used to LIVE by piracy

 

The Israeli's attacked an Iranian Tanker... This is tit for tat in what has become a bit of a shadow war.

 

I'm not convinced they did as I see no benefit for Iran to attack an oil tanker. Propaganda is a powerful tool and nothing positive would come out of this attack especially as people died which would have been foreseeable. Israel don't care about propaganda as they just do what they want and still act as the victim.

 

The benefit is 1) Hit back at Israel - Israel has been carrying out many attacks against Iran - how long is Iran going to just sit back and take it. Of course they will deny it .. "Everyone Does" Israel - the US - citing "National Security" "Top Secret".

2) Further test their drone/missile technology
3) deter further attack - showing they have the capability to hit back.
