I'm not supporting Assad. I'm supporting the notion that all people hold the power and responsibility to see to their own destiny. If the majority want to oust their leaders they will do so and their leaders will fall in time if there is enough resistance. American regime needs to be overthrown as it is. We have enough problems.

Things are NEVER that simple. I can't think of a civil war in recent times which hasn't had some kind of outside intervention myself. Can you?

There is no civil war. We are funding a few rebels and giving them the means to wage terror in their own communities. Well it is but it's being manufactured. Like civil war was manufactured in Libya. ANY country can be sparked by civil war in the blink of an eye if given the opportunity. There are people angry enough with their government in most any nation to wage war against it and if they are just provided the means to do so like what's being done in Libya and Syria it will happen.

It is interesting on this forum to view the american right who to want to embrace the down trodden in the middle east. Some even want to throw themselves into Gay unions in Iran.

But these same Conservatives, spit on their own people on a daily basis. They don't support the down trodden in their own country. Gay union in their home nation is sinful to them.

This pretense of support is not working. Better people like you were honest to thier own twisted agenda.

LOL, you should talk, your ilk is routinely siding with the worst Islamists, fundamentalists, tyrants, dictators, oppressors, with the most despicable regimes and the most disgusting individuals....as long as they are anti-America and anti-Israel. Of course during the genocides in Sudan, Rwanda, Syria your ilk is nowhere to be found.

I am impressed to this word "ilk" But i leave you to ponder the defination failure.

Of course I am not as saintly as the American or Israeli Conservatives on this forum. They want to hug the downtrodden in the middle east to their compassionate bossom.

Even the Gay rights activists. Which is very commendable.

Whatever their views may be they don't advocate the murder of sexual minorities, neither in the US, nor in Israel nor elsewhere. Your ilk on the other hand is routinely siding with the most homophobic regimes on the planet like the regime of Iran and similar barbaric Islamic medieval regimes which hang men for homosexualism and stone women for adultery.

You will be a King in the middle east. Carried on the shoulders of homosexuals in the Gay pride parades across the ME. For your sterling work in the promotion of Gay union.

And you if keep licking the american boots, they may even give you a 'Medal of Freedom'

You English, you think you're so superior, don't you? Well, you're the filth of the planet. A bunch of pompous, badly-dressed, poverty-stricken, sexually-repressed football hooligans.

    Goodbye, Archie.

    ;) :D

As this is now casual racism. I can briefly lower my standards to say this.

I thought the jews were supposed to be intelligent? You do after all, view yourselves higher than the rest of the middle east.

But on a international forum. The jewish are second class.

You are aware, the more you show casual racism.

It can be rebounded. And it will be.

So tell me, why the jews become so upset. Little jewish people like you. act like this forum is ww2 gas ovens.

I am not here to push you into the fire.

    FWIW

Even all the African British? Caribbean British? Indian? Pakistani? Bangladeshi? Chinese? There's over 600,000 mixed raced people here, myself included. So how do you box me in with your stereotypes?

It doesn't. The whole War on Terror thing is pretty hypocritical since we've supported and continue to support insurgencies throughout the world.

All I'm saying is that we play this game because political vacuums are quickly filled. Apparently, there are people in our government who believe that it's in our best interests to undermine Assad. By the same token, it's in Russia's best interests to keep Assad in power.

The whole thing is a game. In the meantime, both sides profit from arms trade.
