He's been accused of being more than just a businessman. He's been accused of criminal acrivity from sex trafficking to fraud.
I agree that he exploits the emotional reactions of frustrated young men who are constantly being told by the mainstream that they are bad.

I question how current research can know if alleged harassment is true or false. It may be clear in many cases. It won't be in others. And there is an institutional bias to believe women and find men guilty, even to the point that when an innocent male victim of assault by a female calls the police, he is as likely to be arrested as helped.

And if your claim is correct, and sexual assault and harassment is much more prevalent than false accusations thereof, that would only show misogyny a more significant proglem than misandry if you equate misogyny and misandry to nothing but sexual harassment and assault by men towards women and accusations thereof. I don't.
I outlined other forms of both above.

The research generally involves considering any case that doesn't involve a woman bringing physical proof and winning in court as being a false accusation. Even by that high standard, false accusations are no more common for rape and sexual assault than they are for any other crime, hovering around 10%. And you are failing to engage in critical thinking here if you think that is the only way in which misogyny happens. That isn't remotely close to what was said. You are smart enough to know that.

That surpasses me, but I have not seen the research. I would note that there will be many cases of harassment and false accusation thereof that doesn't get reported to police.

That makes sense to me for rape and sexual assault. It would be far more surprising to me if it included mere statements that somebody harassed somebody, tarnishing their reputation (and much worse), such as leering, the male gaze, etc. Watch feminist channels and you will see many things characterized as harassment falling far far short of physical assault.

Yes, if I thought that I would be very wrong indeed. I don't. That isn't what I wrote.

I was noting that you cannot conclude that misandry is less common that misogyny merely by pointing at sexual harassment and assault rates. No, it doesn't tend to show that misogyny is a more significant problem in both frequency and severity. There are plenty of other forms of both.

    Not true.

I have done extensive research on the subject: http://www.politicalforum.com/index...e-false-accusations-of-sexual-assault.543542/

This is a clear example of gender-based oppression. Sadly, some men even here support oppression of their own gender.

So about twice as many determined true as determined false. I would then wonder if it is easier to determine them true or determine them false. The remaining cases may not be an even split.

And again, this would only be sexual assault reported to the police. There will be many more accusations, both true and false, that don't go reported to the police.

I went and read the thread you linked to. Excellent OP there, especially the final two paragraphs:

The misinterpreted data may be innocent, but seems to me likely read with such bias due to misandry. Even more notable to me that you write that many men are convicted by accusation alone. I find that to be a big claim. Are you sure that is true? If so, I am curious how many.

Looking back on this conversation, I would also like to caution against making misandry and misogyny into some sort of which is worse competition. Both should be recognized as inexcusable.

And the OP question remains a good one regardless of how much misogyny remains in society. Misogyny and Misandry tend to reinforce and create one another. Bigotry creates bigotry. It doesn't excuse it.

Definitely -- this is the Law in most States since 1980s. I do not know what percentage of convictions are based on accuser's word alone.

I looked into it doing some research on it here in Canada and found the same is true here. And according to what I read, the same is far far rarer when men accuse women. Women can simply deny it, claim he actually sexually assaulted her and he will be the one in trouble.

I also found many people taking the position that it doesn't matter when women sexually assault men, and that the men probably enjoyed it, etc. Sounds like Misandry to me.
