Is there any reason why we should believe anything Trump says?

AlphaOmega is never specific. He is much like most Trump fans. He makes vague accusations and innuendo without any support or sources. He never explains himself because he doesn't know what he is talking about. Like most other Trump fans he rarely deals with the message. Instead of dealing with the issues, he attacks the messenger. In the face of Trump's treasonous performances, AO likes to use wisecracks. He thinks he is being funny.

The truth is, like most other Trump fans, AO knows he made a serious mistake. He tries to cover it up with meaningless posts.

I have had enough of this stuff. Mitchell learned on the air but she and Coats did not have a good laugh. Why did you even claim that? Trump does not have to clear things with Coats anyway. Coats was trying to inform Mitchell how things work and for the money she did a very good interview. I commented on the PBS channel during the newshour she did a nice interview. I wish PBS interviewed the same way she does. She brought back real journalism. Coats was very polite to her.

Since when would Trump need Coats permission?

The way to work things out as did Reagan is to keep plugging. Reagan got accused of storming out of Reykjavik too which was also a lie. But Reagan and his efforts collapsed the weak Soviet Empire.

Trump is misquoted. Trump said others claim he could stand in the middle etc.

We have long told posters the nature of that open mike claim by Obama. He essentially said in effect that what he says to Russian openly he will fix after the election. That is the gist of his statement. He did not know the mike was open so he told him he could be more flexible after the election. What is he implying?

It is impossible to have a truly decent discussion with you Sandy. You first attack what we say. And if we mention things done by others, you tell us in effect, shut up we will not discuss the past. But we will act like the present is stand alone in order to keep attacking Trump. Trump is attacked over today and last week and last year. But that is fine with you. And why? Because you have never made one decent remark about Trump. From day one, you have expressed a hate for Trump. If you don't hate him, you sure keep making it look like you do. And you attack we posters. We get accused of not defending Trump. Well you try to be broad in your accusations but you want sliver narrow defense. We happen to think the man is improving this country. But you never mention his good points.

I am correct. Trump was speaking of what the polls say.

Spoken like a true Russian sympathizer. A Russian agent could not have been more pleasing to Putin. Trump's performance on Monday was super. In fact that is exactly what the Russian foreign minister said.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, a master of diplomatic verbosity and sardonic barbs, summed up the results of the Helsinki summit in just three exuberant words: "better than super."

    https://www.npr.org/2018/07/17/6297...ssia-reacts-to-trump-putin-summit-in-helsinki

And you strongly endorse Trump's performance. "Trump couldn't have planned it better himself." :D

A quarter of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents (25%) said they had a favorable view of Putin, compared with just 9% of Democrats and Democratic leaners.

It is not that I or republican posters like Putin, but we can't wish him gone. He will be around for years. The Russians love him. What is a fact is that so long as he is their president or prime minister, he calls Russia's shots. Trump would enjoy more peace with Russia. We were pulling the same stunt on Saddam Hussein too, all these sanctions. But it took Bush to solve that. Trump needs the opportunity to find out what happens if you work with Russia. Hillary promised she would Had she won, would she get the hate that Trump gets?

So, you support Trump's treasonous behavior on Monday, rejecting American intelligence and believing Putin because his denial was strong and powerful.

"My people came to me, Dan Coats came to me, some others, they said they think it's Russia. I have President Putin. He just said it's not Russia. I will say this, I don't see any reason why it would be. I have great confidence in my intelligence people, but I will tell you that President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial."

Of course, that is what I have been saying all along. Trump's fans are Russian sympathizers.

For more on what he has done please see http://politicalforum.com/index.php?threads/trumps-conflicting-foreign-policy.536105/

As I recall, you couldn't defend what he has done, either.

Why do you support Trump? You reject half of what he says and you can't defend what he has done.

The only reason people have to believe Trump is the wholly ingenuine reason of belief in Trump. His public record of truthful and demonstrably false statements does not allow a reasonable person to take him at his word.

Trump has a well documented history of saying "other people say" when he really means himself.

Did Obama do anything like Trump has done with Putin? Only months ago Russia tried to assassinate an ex spy in the UK, and they still hold Crimea. Trump has basically expressed no concern for Crimea and clobbered all over Putin at that press conference, while calling America foolish.
