No, a black loser should no more be proud of his skin color than a white loser should be of his, obviously.

I disagree, we weren't founded on slavery, genocide, theft, or pillage. Those things are a part of history, but we were not founded on that.

    Lets put it this way...

In the 1700's a trade ship had cannons for defense. It was an integral part of the ship. If a trade ship did not have cannons then they would stand no chance against pirates of the time. But just because the trade ship had cannons does not make the founding of a trade ship that of war. The founding of the trade ship is of trade. The cannons are a part of it, but not the reason that the trade ship was built.

The same is true of the America's. The US was not founded upon slavery, slavery existed, but its not the reason the US was founded. The two are separate. America could have been founded and become a powerhouse without slavery. Slavery just made it a bit easier. To claim that the America's, be it the continent or the colonies or both, was founded upon slavery et al is what is revisionist. Just because something exists, doesn't mean that something defines everything around it.

    I have zero gods.
I wish I did, really — it would be a lot easier justifying everything going on and the amount of peace that seeing lived ones again would bring would be immeasurable.

    But I don’t

I'd like to continue but really this isn't what the topic of the thread is about. I'll bow out of this particular Segway.

I am in agreement with this.

My original point still stands, we are not the nation we once were.

Skin color is an absurd thing to be proud of.
    Why is that funny?
Because I am not wrapped in an American flag?

This is true. Unfortunately many seem to think we are still just as horrible now as a few of the actions that we took back then. You see this every time someone asks the question "when was America ever great?". All they see is the evil that we did and ignore all the good. In many ways they view Trump in the same exact light. They see the bad, but refuse to see the good.

To blacks, Latinos, Asians and Europeans you are a whitey.
It doesn’t matter what you consider. You can think you are a goat, for all I care, you are still a whitey to everyone else.

Oh, you really think people are different? That's cute. Suggest you read up on the Armenian genocide, Holocaust, Khmer Rouge, and a dozen other massacres/cleansings/genocides by various racial groups I don't need to mention. You really think whites are all that? The people who started BOTH world wars? I wouldn't exactly hold us up as paragons of virtue.

And based on your "criteria" ("the nerdy path" lolz), you should really be praising Asians.

People ask when was america great because of the make America great again slogan.
It implies that America is no longer great and we need to return to the period when it was.

No one can ever seem to answer that question however.

And with trump, the bad far outweighs the good.
The good things he has done are massive but the bad things he has done and caused are many and likely insurmountable.

They have a weird nostalgia for the 1950's, as if everyone wasn't a raging closet alcoholic and three-pack-a-day smoker. Life was easy.

This isn’t about paragons of virtue, if it was I’d bring up the murder rate among blacks and how many hundreds of millions of people were slaughtered by Muslims along with how both groups continue their murdering rampages today. You, yes you, said white people control the levers of power. If whites were racist they’d use that power to eliminate non whites. But here’s the problem, whites aren’t slaughtering non whites, the non whites are slaughtering themselves, and the left either turns a blind eye to it or blames whites. And here’s the kicker, if we even mention how non whites are slaughtering themselves we’re called racists.

What does love of America has to do with God?

Or are you implying that everyone that does not believe in the Christian God hate America?

By the way, I believe in evolution, do you? Do you believe humans evolved equally? If so, then that wouldn’t make sense since we are obviously different right down to how our hair looks.

And you still didn’t explain how whites hold the levers of power. In another setting that could come across as something a white supremacist would say.

Wow this two year old 4chan trolling campaign worked wonders on this crowd. It was created to thumb in the eye and enrage SJWs. Looks like it has worked. And it is not some small thing, the "It's OK to be White" posters are posted worldwide, have been for a couple of years now, media just won't cover it much because of the innate gotcha in claiming there's something inherently wrong with the statement.

FYI the more recent 4chan troll coming to bulletin boards near you soon if not already is "Muslims are Right About Women." Also designed to enrage SJWs via cognitive dissonance and a crafty dilemma, but probably won't have the same effect.

Both are genius level trolls. Of course the MSM and all the Complex organs are painting them as "racist" because racists do in fact post on 4chan, along with every other conceivable part of the political spectrum. It's as idiotic as calling all posts here racist because racists post here.

I base my interpretation on evidence and reason.

Kind of sucks acknowledging mortality, but at least it's an acceptance of reality.

I don’t get the outrage over the flyer nor do I get why the flyer was even made. As a society we need to take a mass pause and ****, allowing some time to reflect on where we stand. We’re taking large steps backwards under the guise that we’re progressing.
