"It's Okay To Be White" flyers found on local university campus

So if you're African then you are the moral center of this country. But saying it's OK to be white is a hateful attack.

So if it's not OK to be white, then there must be something wrong with being white. So what's wrong?

It's not rational to be upset or offended by the factual statement that it's okay to be white.

 

So WHAT (Exactly) is the point of this thread?

What "Issue" are you attempting to bring to a "Civil" discussion?"

I really don't see the requirements for "setting the basis for respectful debate".

Actually it should be soothing to the sensitivity of white liberals who have been on such a guilt trip for so long.

I love white progressive faux outrage, as if they're being targeted directly when someone violates pc speech code.

I'll never forget watching a guy go full SJW at work and turn into a bumbling rageaholic. It was during the Ferguson riots. One guy quoted something he'd seen on the news about someone referring to the rioters as ******s or something like that... he used the word ****** when relaying the info... and that's all it took for this lilly white snowflake to erupt into a nonsensical diatribe aimed at the guy who was just quoting something.

Completely irrational.

It is ALSO OK to be Black, Brown, Yellow, Straight, Gay, Bi, Trans, Etc...

 

The subliminal message behind it's okay to be white is it is not okay to be black.

 

Since you asked, what you've missed is reading a thread in order to discuss the issue at hand instead of playing wannabe mod. Since you need assistance with this, allow me to provide some topics for you to discuss regarding the issue:

For instance, you could take a side that it is INDEED okay to be white on college campuses where there have been attacks on whites merely for their being white.

You could argue that colleges that have become SJW battlegrounds where race is an issue should not be so. Or perhaps you feel that it SHOULD be so.

You could discuss why it is the pendulum or racial awareness has swung so far in one direction that the fact that is is necessary for whites simply to say that being white is okay might be a problem.

Or you could simply stay out of the thread altogether if you have nothing to add.

I dunno, I took it as, as @Nightmare515 said above, a response to a great deal of white-hating I've seen and read about on campus that there's a backlash brewing where simply telling whites that it's okay to BE white instead of developing some kind of self-loathing defense mechanism because they're told how awful they are all the time. And just as Nightmare, I'm not white - although I am a male - and I'm getting annoyed at the uber-SJWing and suchlike from the Racial Victimhood Police.

 

EVENT: Some (apparently) Moronic Troll prints a few flyers on his home computer, then spreads them around at a small college (that 95% of America has never even heard of), and it surfaces as a small story on the Local News.

RW TAKE: This is a National Story (bigger than 9/11) because the Twitter/Reddit Trolls are spamming it on Social Media.

Conclusion: This story is worthy of The Onion. I really find it hard to believe that this is anything more than today's installment from the RW Faux Outrage Crowd.

I find it utterly ridiculous that anybody would find "It's OK to be white" to be offensive.

But I am not white. Jews are also a minority.

For a long time, White Nationalism was a powerful and destructive force in the World.

 

The flyers (banners) were printed in a non-union shop for starters. Secondly the slogan is associated with various white supremacist organizations around the country.

 

Add conservative, Christian, and financially secure to that list, and now you're especially "problematic".

 

And there's the response we've all come to expect from AJ.

I'm proud to be white....and I don't feel guilty not one damn bit. White heterosexual males are the most discriminated against people alive. There, I said it. Prove me wrong with your affirmative action and all the other crutches available to those who aren't white males.

 

So because some white supremacist organizations say that means its automatically wrong? That anyone that says it, or supports it must be a racist? …….awfully broad brush there.
