IS that right? You obviously do not follow world affairs very closely.

Cheney and his former company were in close ties with the Taleban throughout the 90s... They were trying to seal a pipeline deal.

I believe the Cheney offer was.... take our offer to build a pipeline through your country or we will bury you under our bombs (or words to that effect).

The taleban told him where to go... and so Cheney and the gang carried out the false flag 911 attack and invented terrorist camps in Afghanistan to justify their bombing and invasion.

After a month of trying to avoid it...and if you want to be technical....the "war" was merely a bombing campaign against terrorist camps...it wasn't until after a war we actually had a legitimate ground force there.

weak on history dude, Afghanistan had a secular socialist government, there was coup and Soviets were assisting that government, the US began supplying weapons to factions opposed to the government. The soviets were involved in social reforms, education for girls among them they came under religious opposition for their efforts (doesn't that sound familiar  ). And the US supported the religious extremists in opposition to those social reforms.

No country acts out of altruism EVER... and the US in particular only ever acts in its self interest.
When I say the US.. I mean the dictators who run the country... not the people themselves.

where is this avoidance and long build up you allude to? there wasn't any...Iraq on the other hand required months and months and more months of lies and fabrications before it was attacked.

The US gives aid to countries nobody has ever heard of just because its the human thing to do....now...they won't intervene in their civil war unless they have a legit interest in the country (Syria)..but still..

The US government is the lowest international aid donor in the western world.

Millennium development goals were for all developed nations to donate 0.7% of GDP to developing nations. No country has yet reached this target. Some have got close. Most are around 0.3%.

The US has been consistently at the bottom of the table on 0.1%.

you can't have a question if you don't have enough knowledge to ask, you're really in the dark on the entire issue.

I have to agree with you on this one.

His ignorance and naivety about US foreign policy is utterly startling.

You don't get it?..We talked to the Taliban for a month. All we wanted was Bin Laden, and the closure of their terrorist camps. They did neither, so we bombed the terrorist camps, and invaded with a very....very light ground force. In fact, to avoid using our troops, we paid the Northern Alliance to fight with the few guys we did have there.

We sent 150,000 ground troops into Iraq. you don't see the difference?

Cheney was without doubt involved in 911... I doubt he was the mastermind... merely carrying out orders.. like all US presidents and vice presidents.

    Utter nonsense.

Most nations see the benefit in helping developing countries.

Most people also realise that they are wealthy enough to help starving people.

aid to Pakistan since 2001 is all military, which means they're required to buy US military equipment to keep the US military industry employed, no one gives a c**p about Pakistani's..
