Do you really believe the usa 'gives' aid. It 'gives' your tax money like sweet candy to nations of the world. Either this is nice troll, or vastly naive on this subject.

 

The US is one of dozens of countries that give aid. The US just gives a lot less than others.

However most international aid is given with conditions and with controls.

It is as said above... soft power.

Soft power is so much more influential than Hard power.

If the US was not controlled by the military complex... it would be much stronger.

if we want get into a debate about how grateful the world should be for generosity the US ranks quite low, most US aid is military which comes right back to the US in payments for US made equipment.

You do realize that the US has the worlds largest (or 2nd) economy...therefore more would still be less if we're going be percents...but whatever..

If I have 100 dollars...and give somebody 5 dollars..I gave them 5% of what I have.

If somebody has 1 dollar, and gives somebody 50 cents...they've given 50% of what they had..

The US really doesnt do International aid. As I explained it is because your dictators concentrate more on hard power.

You can compare Europe then.

Europe gives MASSIVELY more international aid than the US.

Take the biggest nations (CORE EUROPE) in the EU that make up 300 million people.
They give more than TWICE the money that the US gives.

That is because the EU is not run by military complex dictators and they see the benefit of soft power.

The reason why the war was lost from Day One is because, contrary to the lies you get every night from the Fox network, we never got majority support from Afghanis! Invading that country was mistake because the Taliban did have support from the majority of its population.

This is further proof that the USA must never try to invade Iran as its democratically elected government has the support of most of its people as well.
