That may be so, but he's a citizen of Saudi Arabia, and this happened in Turkey, attacked by his own citizens.

What differences would this information make on the political order of the region and of the world, 1) had it been managed to kept as a secret, and 2) had it somehow gotten released to public a) anytime soon b) much later in life?
