The perjury I'm referring to was not perjury in relation to the accusations against him by the woman. I'm describing the perjury he committed in prior statements to Congress, regarding emails that strongly suggest he lied to them in days gone by.

You are now down to quoting the 94 year old peanut farmer? Having to dig pretty deep to fuel your rage over being swept away in landslide election loses nearly two years ago aren't you?

And I repeat, subjective conclusions grounded in emotional appeals are a poor foundation for conviction of perjury, and underscores the dismal state of affairs on the left, and the threat to objective reasoning in the legal profession.

B-B-But then they'd be criticizing one of their own. Wouldn't the Dem Party world come to an end if that were to ever happen?

I bet I could find a Republican to say Ruth Bader Ginsberg is unfit for the Supreme Court.

Indeed Carter was a good man. I've donated to his charity for many decades. But that was the MAN. As president he pretty much sucked aside from the Camp David Peace Accords. He has an uncanny talent for being wrong about half the time.

No arguments about his honesty. In fact he was way to honest to be a politician. As a president he was wrong far more than half the time.

Yeah, but there is no doubt that Kavanaugh's confirmation was a direct result of senator Harry Reid and the Democratic controlled Senate first use of the nuclear option setting the precedence and the rules for any future nominee that requires senate confirmation.

I would bet that outside of three Democratic senators who voted against the use of the nuclear option, not a single one along with all the loyal Democratic faithful ever gave the future one iota of thought. That the Democrats enmass never thought it would ever be used by the opposite party against them.

    Plain stupidity.

I think even most republicans think Kavanaugh is unfit to be on the SC, but they are selling their soul and looking the other way

I agree; and on a more serious note on my part, the unwillingness or inability to consider consequences down the line from the 'in the moment' bit of political expediency endorsed or promoted 'in the now' by countless Dem Party leaders and their operatives, both in and outside the Mainstream Media, has become one of the hallmarks of what it means to be a Dem Party leader/operative/or voter over the course of at least the last ten years.

Yeah and Jimmy Carter was unfit to be President.
The reason USSC judges are appointed for life is so they don't need to worry about the changing whims of the US public.

Sorry not sorry, but his vote is going to count just as much as any of the other USSC Justices, and their decisions will have the full weight of federal law behind it.

Calling Carter unfit for office is hardly "crapping all over him." It really is little more than stating the obvious.

I remember his administration. Sky rocketing gas prices. Lines at gas pumps. American students and embassy workers held prisoner in Iran. Rampant inflation. Worst president in my lifetime. Not really sure what makes him relevant. The guy has always been an idiot.
