Glad you enjoy him. I understand he has a big following with college kids. I hope he doesn't turn on you.
Since endorsing Tulsi, Rogan had her on for another interview. I think she does a great job communicating her ideas.
I don't really understand how the DNC works. Super delegates and so forth. Anyway, good for Joe and good for Ms. Gabbard.
She's no libertarian. She's just like all the other left-wingers when it comes to gun control... https://www.votetulsi.com/node/25028 Hell no to Tulsi or any other Democrat.
I'd love to see a Rand Paul /Gabbard ticket in 2024. Yes i know they are in different parties that is the point.
The president cannot pass additional gun control measures, only the congress can. By the way, Trump has not only supported new gun control measures, he actually signed new gun control into law. So if you cannot support Tulsi for her position on gun control, then there is no reason you should be able to support Trump.
I never claimed Trump was a libertarian or that he is a great defender of gun rights. But Tulsi's stance on gun control is far more extreme than what Trump has done.
Not really. Trump supported the creation of a watch list that would strip people of their second amendment rights without due process.
To some extent, sure. Trump supported using a government "watch list" as a way of summarily stripping people of their second amendment rights. It was one of the most odious gun control proposals ever. Naturally, it failed to gain any traction because of how crazy it was, but the fact that Trump thought it was a good idea says a lot about his own understanding of the second amendment.
Links please. I seem to remember Muslims being stripped of their 2nd amendment rights by Obama's do not fly list. The NRA fought against it.
After the Bernie Sanders fiasco the DNC was forced to take the power away from superdelegates. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...ll-it-matter-for-2020/?utm_term=.83fe60825b92 Just over a week ago, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) voted to radically change the influence “superdelegates” have on their party’s presidential selection process. The superdelegates are unique to the Democratic Party and have long been controversial — but they became especially so in the 2016 primary fight between Sen. Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton.
After researching it, it wasn't a new law. His administration just banned bump stocks through executive FIAT.
Because Tulsi is worse on gun rights and she is more liberal on most other issues than Trump. That's why.
Trump is only marginally better on gun rights than Tulsi. And only the congress can actually pass new gun laws, so Tulsi wouldn't be able to do much as president.
I have said before, and I'll say it again. This woman is very intelligent and very articulate. She doesn't spew canned talking points. She seems to speak from her beliefs instead. If she gains traction, she could go all the way.
