    He questioned the MOTIVATIONS of the entire prosecution/Witch Hunt.

    That was a BRUTAL start for the Grand Inquisitor.

    FYI, if Trump did collude with the Russians, they could have spoken in code, and/or just non electronic communication. So your notion that the NSA would know is not valid.

    That said, the hard evidence is that Russia made a great effort to interfere and Trump's team did meet with Russian officials and lied about it. The investigation continues.

    IOW , the judge is entirely CORRECT in the prosection's motivations.

    And the judge is showing how you "take down" fraudulent prosecution, it looks like....

    I wonder if there is still time for Mueller et al to exit stage left before their collective tail gets burned to a crisp?

    Hmm...I don't know. If that were truly effective (and ethical) then Mueller is doing a terrible job executing that strategy. There are a lot of little fish in Trump's posy that he could be throwing charges against.

    I may be wrong but I do not believe that is true...Didn't the Court simply refuse to look at the issue until the cases ongoing at the lower court level finished?

    Exactly right. The Trump "investigation" is cover up operation to hide the corruption of the FBI/DOJ.

    "In September, Horowitz found that bureau investigators had allowed employees with dubious polygraph results to keep their top-secret clearances for months or even years, posing “potential risks to U.S. national security.” In one instance, an FBI IT specialist with top-secret security clearance failed four polygraph tests and admitted to having created a fictitious Facebook account to communicate with a foreign national, but received no disciplinary action for that."

    Potentially. Populating the agencies with agenda fueled progressives seems to have massively failed us. The thin veneer of being a "republican" married to the activist democrat model seems to be the first indication....

    Some asked why Rosenstein signed off on one of the FISA applications that allowed the FBI to cover all of Trumps campaign communications but there is a good writeup that looked at the timeline. Rosenstein was not aware of the cabal that put it together 10 months earler in the first place and that Strzok was part of that cabal. The OIG uncovered what was going on and brought it to Rosenstein's attention. It is one of the reasons the FISA application was not extended, why Strzok was removed from Mueller's team, and why Page was never charged with anything.
