Under Prop 47 many felonies are now just misdemeanors and are treated as infractions with no jail time if convicted.

Breaking And entering, burglary. If you steal something worth less than $950 in value and get caught, no jail time if you are caught and convicted.

Prop 57, you saw the list of the former violent crimes I posted that are no longer considered to be a violent crime and now you do less time in prison like rape of an unconscious girl, assault and battery with a deadly weapon, sex trafficking, etc etc etc.

Prop 47 and Prop 57 released 50% of the felons serving time in California's state prisons.

Most voters are low information especially in California. The actual propositions 47 and 57 are 50 to 80 pages long each but most voters just read the sample ballot, reading one or two paragraphs that were written by Kamala Harris and say that's kool and vote for something not knowing exactly what they are voting for.

The only rights convicted child traffickers should have is to a swift and expedient execution at our earliest convenience alongside any pedophiles they did business with. As for immigration I have no problem whatever with legal immigration. Through that we get people who wish to be here and we are more than happy to have. Illegal immigration on the other hand gets you little more than the opportunity to acquire a fifth column of vagabonds and ne'er do wells who can do little more than bleed us dry like too many ticks on a dog. This is not their fault. They live in God awful circumstances that afford them little hope of acquiring the sort of skills necessary to be successful in an industrialized society. This sadly is the circumstance of a 1/3 to a 1/2 of the world population. We have neither the resources nor the space for all of them or even a large part of them. We either enforce our borders and hope that the internal pressures generated thereby eventually produce a circumstances which will greatly improve the lot of those to our South. Or we continue to be an escape valve for corrupt and self serving regimes that will only ever change their ways at the point of a gun weilded by their restive populations.
