So a hip replacement $32,000, what's that in a market economy? $10,000? Heart Surgery? Knee replacement? Now, if the expensive stuff gets priced out of the market, so that most people do without, that lowers the cost. But is that what you want? It's not going back to $2 doctor appointments and fifty cent prescriptions, and $500 surgeries. There are very expensive medical procedures that some people need, that's how insurance works, everyone kicks in a little, some get a lot back. The huge clue should be that there isn't a free market in medical care anywhere in the world, if it's so good, why doesn't it exist?
