Thats a stretch. Because you have a gun, and some one else does not, does not nean that you have the right to use your gun. Even the 9/11 dispatcher said that he should not follow the kid, but he did it any way, Zimmerman is responsable for the escalation, and the police were on the way. This is wrong in every way.

I don't think the mug shot was after the shooting. After all, he wasn't arrested. I don't know for sure. However, there seems to be eye witness accounts of a scuffle.

The kid has a right to defend himself, but I highly doubt the Hispanic was trying to "start anything". After all, the dispatcher was saying the cops were on their way. What probably happened was that the Hispanic, neighborhood watch volunteer stopped the black teenager. The teenager got offended and escalated. Perhaps the Hispanic got his as beat, perhaps not.. at the end of the day, the Hispanic thought his life was endanger and shot.

Let there be a trial... The constant prejudices from the media is horrible...

I'm not sure what you are trying to defend anymore. The man was wrong in killing this kid. He started doing the right thing by calling the cops, he ended by doing the wrong thing by killing this kid. There are rules of engagement in life, and high standard should apply. A low standard is be used here.

 

You keep ignoring the fact that the 911 operator told Zimmerman NOT to follow Trayvon. Zimmerman ignored the instructions and followed the boy anyway. He started this, he had to end it and he ended it by shooting dead Trayvon.

Also is there a source that the kids were not charged with a hate crime? The only articles I found say the cops did describe it as a hate crime.
