White Christian nationalists are diminishing in numbers as a group. This makes them feel threatened, and in turn lash out. The more they feel diminished, the more they lash out. The more they try and rig elections to favor them. The more they rig laws to favor them.

Our biggest problem are White Christian nationalists who are mostly Protestants.

I am not sure they are diminishing in numbers. As the White population decreases in percentage of the population the more conservative they get. The White population may be smaller,but they are becoming more radical.
