Flynn called the Russians on Dec 29, 2016 so you are totally wrong that the call influenced the election.

Call - Dec 29. Election Nov 6.

WRONG and if you don't know it I feel for you and if you do know it - -

Why is it the job of senior diplomatic and intelligence officials to tell the press and Pence that Flynn lied. The call was within his duty.

You did MAKE IT UP.. The call was after the election and it was legal and you are unconcerned that low level left wing bureaucrat did this to cause President trump trouble.

 

Nice to see the Russians rushing to defend Flynn, LOL. This is just extraordinary..........I can't wait for the book & movie once all the investigations are complete, which could take some time.......

 

He lost the confidence of the President and the current President finds that unttenible and said you're fired.

 

Investigation of what? Flynn spoke to the Russian and then screwed himself and caused President Trump trouble when he lied to Pence.

If Pence had been smarter he would have known that Flynn had the duty to talk to the Russians and refused to answer questions about who Flynn was talking to.

 

But he only hires the best people, this guy didn't last a month and spent his time lying

All nations are involved in cyber warfare, even the USA's allies try to hack into US govt and US industry systems. And the USA tries to hack into their systems.

And Russia did not try to subvert the USA democratic process - but the Democrat party did.

Yep, unbelivable. A President is told few weeks ago that his National Security Adviser has been discovered breaking security laws and is under possible threat of blackmail, that President then allows his Vice President to publicly deny those valid allegations.

There are investigations ongoing right now about possible Trump campaign team relations with the Russians during the campaign. As for the Flynn scandal I think we can count on another investigation regarding lies (by statement &/or omission). No one is questioning Flynn talking with the Russian ambassador in December it is about Flynn discussing the additional sanctions issued the very same day - and then lying about it to Pence and other members of the administration. The investigation will be about what exactly did Flynn discuss, what did he "promise" if anything. Aren't you the least bit curious as to why Russia did not respond in kind to the further sanctions applied by the Obama administration? Maybe they were told not to worry about it, a new administration is coming to town and things will be taken care of. Pence is said to be furious, as he should be.

One thing is certain, we have not seen the last of Flynn, he will be appearing before hearings, voluntarily or not.......

 

There was a recession when Obama took over, but it didn't actually stay below 1% just kept a mean 1.8% for his two terms.

 

I've said that. I believe that. Flynn is a good soldier, used to following orders from his (then soon to be Commander In Chief).

Most likely, since when were transition members who are government employees restricted from speaking with foreign dignitaries? It's whether Flynn fully disclosed the subjects discussed with him and especially if he gave him misinformation through Pence.

 

Never underestimate Trump's stupidity. His huge ego, which got him where he is can also be what takes him down. He who lives by the sword.....

 

In reality, it looks like Russia will take down the USA from the inside. This will be 4 yrs of scandal and blackmail.

 

You mean when they get exposed for the firable acts. Trumps known about this and did nothing until Flynn was exposed.

 

If I had to hazard a guess, I would say he was fired because he went from "no" to "i don't remember" and made Pence, and the POTUS by extension, look foolish.

We already know that the FBI has investigated the call and found no wrong doing, and that phone calls of that type are normal.

I'll stick to the facts about what is known, instead of throwing around conspiracy theories.
