While I do like to be pedantic on occasion, here I was merely providing clarification. I don't care to be included in any group that puts people in cages even if they haven't harmed anyone.

To be pedantic, however, you used the word in the wrong form of the word. The proper form would have been "pedantry", not "pedantics."
